  3. The very wet summer has kept them underground more so mixy has spread like wild fire ,the bunnies are more than likely dead underground ,they will recover but you will not see many for a while .seen it before long wet summer =less bunnies

Personally on our shoot I would be upset to see anyone shooting fox with any shotgun with any load further than they can absolutely guarantee an instant kill .in most cases I have witnessed that's no more than about 20 yards ,nothing worse than seeing a fox writhing about on the floor in pain and wounded because some donut is trying to be clever and shoot a bolting fox up the harris at 40 yards with 30 g of no 6,let your conscience be your guide ,as an aside i personally wont shoot foxes with a 17hmr either ,in my opinion I don't think it has the welly

  6. There's more left than I thought My mate shot a rat with a 243 and we couldnt find it ,just a smear of blood with the odd bit of skin . Bit expensive for rat rounds
  7. I used that with mice does it work on rats as well Was hoping someone had a bait that would be so irresistable that the rat would have to sit and eat it. Where is the fun in setting a trap

    OK guys got a rat in my shed ,had mice before and I got them with traps I can shoot with air rifle but need some advice on what bait to use Some one recommended dog food but doesnt seem to be working so what would you say to try. I can leave door open and see the bait from my house window,plan is to get the rat on the bait and put a little hole in his head

  10. Didn't you realise that almost all retail outlets employ monkeys these days.if they only work there then don't trust a word they utter ,go into Curry's and ask one of them what HDMI means and see what happens ,they are trained to work a till and very little else Sorry about that , rant over

  12. I did some research on this in June and ended up with the Olympus sp800 uz great bit of kit and not so complicated to use that it makes it a nightmare like a lot of others are . The Fuji is a good price but is slow to focus and the Nikon is brilliant but you have to know it inside out to use it quickly .spare batteries from maplin about 20 quid (rechargeable) Took mins to africa on safari and it will do it all ,macro to long distance Mark

  14. Picture perfectly clear and no spots ,there is a bag for the ir but not for the scope (surely it would be affixed to a rifle) Mark
