  1. I got one last year I could not believe haw good they are for the money the bloody sim card to go in it cost as much as the camera I also got a reversing thing this stuff is so bloody cheep to buy and could save you a lot of money well worth the outlay and if you get board you can always put the sim card into your laptop and go for a drive sitting in your arm chair.
  2. I have always thought that in many ways it is a good thing to have a mini hart attack if you have a stent or two fitted and then they put you on medication to stop clotting of the blood etc people tend to go on for many years with no further problems I had this done some 20 years ago and I an ok it tends to be these people who for whatever reason no no idea that they have a hart problem until its to late its always very sad to hear of someone going in this way RIP Shane.
  3. The problem with Jimmy Saville you cannot put the blame on Starmer as it was plane to anyone with a brain that the guy was very odd and quite how the BBC could not see this fact I do not understand. As for Boris again I never got why people see in him he has always told lies and tends to blame everyone but himself of the lot I rate Michal Gove he has not got much personality but he is good at his job and he really ****** off the Teachers when he was education minister and that has to prove he is good at his job add to that he told us that Boris was not up to the job and got slagged of for doing so.
  4. There was a program on TV about him some years ago apparently he has a twin brother who when they was young was said to be a better faster runner than Mo but when his dad came to live in the uk he could only take ether two or three children so his brother got left in South Africa and did not get the coaching that Mo go so ended op working as a plumber or some job like that its strange how fate can change the way your life ends up if his twin had been chosen to come to the uk he may have ended up being rich and famous.
  5. I remember freddie and the dreamers way back in the 60s when I was young just looked him up I never new that he was quite so old born in 1936 and died in 2006 makes you feel really old knowing stuff like this.
  6. I had one fitted about ten years ago and never regretted it as long as you do not use stupid amounts of water you will make a good saving having said that there is no way that I am having a smart electric meter even though Scotish Power do keep on badgering me to have one.
  7. I have a Jeep grand cherokee and tend to buy some parts from ebay but if it is an electrical part I go to RockAuto in America as I have an American car I find it best to pay that bit extra for post and tax and get the proper part and with them you do get lots to choose from I tend to go with if not the top price item the next one down.
  8. I think that it is always a good idea to not just drive one and think that they are no good if you can find another one you may like it also have you thought about that leasing one a while ago they was doing what seemed like a cracking deal to me I thought about it myself but I just do not do enough miles to make it worth while.
  9. I tend to think that most cars/trucks are much the same rather than going for a make or model just look for the one that does what you need it to that is in the best condition that is what matters in the end how many miles has it got on the clock and has it get rust on it in the end it is up to you.
  10. I changed my licence about 10 years ago simply to have a small photo identity card to be honest I can never understand why we do not all have identity cards like they have in most countries.
  11. I think that we should copy the Americans on this if they were sentenced to 999 years then they could knock off 50% for good behaviour then after only 500 years they could be out and free to start a new life.
  12. I gave up watching cricket on TV some time ago as I did not like the supporters shouting and banging drums etc and just to making to much noise for my liking also I was put of by all of the hugging and kissing when someone got out but one good thing to come out of this covid 19 thing its all gone back to how it used to be so I am enjoying it again for a bit.
  13. I hope one day that they can do complete eyeball transplants that would really help lots of people with damaged eyes.
  14. strange how we do not see our MPs wanting to ban the BBC or SKY as well as RT I look at them all and take most of it with a large pinch of salt.
  15. All of this Russia Bashing I am shore people actually think that GB and the US never do any of this stuff to other countries the Americans and the British are behind more good governments being overthrown just so that we can make money we do not give a **** about what happens to the people who live in these countries if the Russions are doing this to us then it is nothing more than we deserve.
  16. maybe his daughter needs to pass her test for to get a job when the driving test office opens life is bad enough at the present time without jobsworths like you adding to it.
  17. Well it is the BBC after all what other would we expect
  18. I had a 2007 cherokee 2.8 crd but just do not like driving diesels like driving a transit van so I went back the the good old 4ltr petrol grand cherokee love it. That is a nice looking Truck hard to find one of them that is not well rusted in the Chassis department you was lucky to find a good rust free one.
  19. About six years ago I was lucky enough to get on the government worm front heating program at the time I had a multi fuel wood/coal stove running five radiators and it worked fine but as I was having problems with my joints I decided to change over to oil heating. I love it just have it serviced once a year cost about £100 and as oil is not to expensive at the present time I have a 1200 ltr tank I just have 500ltrs put in when it gets down to about half full and that is it best thing I ever did getting fitted. They do say that mains gas is best but if that is not an option I say go for the oil option you will not regret it.
  20. Something that made me think they banned hand guns some years ago to stop this sort of thing from going on in many ways I think this was a bad idea ok it is not good that people was shooting one another but it was and is so much harder to get your hands on a hand gun but it is really simple to get hold a knife so any plonker can get there hands on one something that was never going to happen with guns just a thought.
  21. Its not the fairies that vote in the people who make laws that says that any nutter can buy a fully automatic gun it is these people who got shot I'm sorry but if they have not got the gumption to do something about it that is there fault.
  22. I have to say that I have little sympathy for for the American people who got shot I have every sympathy for all of the other people from all around the world who got mixed up in it . If the American people are so stupid as to let any Tom **** or Harry buy these automatic guns then they cannot complain when some nutter gets hold of one and dose something like this as I have said before I have no problem with people having hand guns hunting rifles and shot guns but full automatics is madness.
  23. Just some thoughts about the road tax thing a 2005 one could be say £270 a year but a later one could £500 so we are talking about £200 over a year if you consider a newer car/truck should have less miles less wear and less rust add to the fact that its depreciating in value is the extra £200+ a year worth worrying about in the long run. If I had the space I would go for a nice tax free and rust free pree 1970 American four wheel drive pickup truck V8 running on LPG last for ever as long as you look after it they have proper thick steel chassis not like the tin foil they use on land rovers. :good:
