Whenever I have said anything about the Americans being allowed to have ARs and AK47s I have always been told by people on here that they can have them but only the semi automatic version well listening to the videos on this shooting the guy had a fully automatic gun I get the idea of letting people have hand guns hunting rifles and shot guns but why would anyone want an AR if they are restricted to semi automatic mode would not a good hunting rifle be a much better option good for hunting but you could also shoot the bad guys even even with a good old winchester.

I have to say I do like a bit of bling be it chrome or ss I also have to say I hate the modern plastic bumpers on cars give me some nice shiny chrome ones any day.

and it depends how thick the chrome is I got some new pushbike handlebars a few years ago and after one year on the bike I could see rust coming as the chrome was so thin it is worth paying the extra as long as you make shore that the chrome is going to be thick.

Nothing wrong with Garmin sat navs I have had one for a long time works fine and a screen that is big enough to see as for the smart phone geek not everyone has one needs one wants one I have a mobile phone and it is what it says on the box a phone I can send a tex if I need to but mostly I do not need to. :yes:

That is a lovely bike is it steel frame or alloy I do not go much on that I forget what the correct term is the long arm holding the handlbars on should be worth good money though I would have thought.

I see on the news that Dyson is bringing out an electric car in two or three years time he has got a big team of people working on it they say that it will vacuum all of the dirt off the road as you drive along. :whistling:

You do surprise me I was under the impression that it was like linux and I have used that for ten years and never needed Antivirus I always thought that was why people pay stupid money for there overpriced computers.

Just what the rich folks need to take the kids to school in or god forbid drive it across a field when tacking the kids to there pony riding lessons give me a nice four wheel drive pickup any day.

I have used Linux on my computers for years much like mac it is a closed program so unlike microsoft people cannot get in to the program to put bugs in I also have a chrome book much the same no Antivirus required.

Land rovers only last a long time because everything including the chassis can be bought new to replace the old stuff so it is not really fair to compare them with other cars/trucks as apart from US old Jeeps they are the only ones that everything can be changed for new parts.

They look very much like a clone of a Land Rover I remember the old Austin Champ that the army has a few of them ugly things I cannot comment about how they drive or if they was any good or not just to say I like the look of the Gypsy but hate the look of the Champ.

As usual I do not suppose hardly anyone bothered to actually look at the video just the first picture I put it up because I think it is informative and funny I love the idea that they can go out and find 50 old trucks just parked up in fields for years and buy them and get them going. in this country if a truck or car is left out like that it would mostly be a pile of rust all that we seem to get is old land rovers not much fun in that they look like a tin box on wheels.

I have to admit I am a big fan of old American pickup Trucks and looking on youtube a while ago I came across this his videos are good and sometimes funny with his girlfriend in here huge pickup and there little dog who cannot wait for a new truck to arrive so that she can get in it and check it out for rats and mice its well worth a look if you like old trucks.

This is a sore point with me who came up with the idea of making brake pipes out of steel makes no sense to me at one time they was always made of copper that would last for ever then just to save a few pennies they changed over putting peoples life in danger rant over. See if you can get someone to make and fit some nice copper ones last for ever then and should not cost that much.

That is what garden sheds are for well one for junk and the other one or garage is a workshop.

Nice to see someone still using a shed/garage workshop for what it was meant for a man shed for most people today is just a pretend pub with a tv and arm chairs but then I am old we now what a real shed is somewhere to make and mend stuff not laze about drinking while the Mrs is watching soaps on TV.

From what I now of these things in most countries the general population are permitted to own shotguns and even hunting rifles with little or no laws to prevent them from doing so hand guns are restricted more but if you are a respectable person you can own them and shoot at gun clubs/ranges so why are we so different that we cannot be trusted with them.

I no that not many people will agree with me but I think that every home owner should be entitled to own a single barreled shotgun for home defence as long as they do not have any mental problems or criminal record for violence drink or drugs this would not give them to use the gun without a permit outside of there property. when I was young you could buy a shotgun licence in the post office for 10 bob and we did not have people going around shooting each other only the odd nutter all of this about it being against the law as if it was handed down from god not just a load of politicians who for there own reasons just do not like guns as we saw with the hand gun ban leaving us with a country where only the bad guys have guns.

You are allowed to defend yourself and if he was a 30 year old rugby player that would be ok but both of them are old I am 72 years old and if someone was to break in to my house I do not think that I would stand much of a chance if I am supposed to fight them off with a sweeping brush you people make me laugh no doubt you have got shotguns in your house and more than lightly a hand gun so you would be safe its a case of Im alright jack it seems to me.
