  1. I bought some cartridges from Independant Shooting Supplies in Mountnessing yesterday and was very pleased by their service which included two free pens!! Their prices are very competative and if you only want a few boxes they give you them at the price you would pay per box as if it were per 1000. Would highly recommend them.
  2. I dont know your budget however being a left hander and having purchased a second hand left hander recently i wish id seen the offer on at Avalon Guns.....A betnisolli limited edition,LH,30inch steel proofed barrels and 3inch mag with good looking wood. Under 700. Good in my book. Or you could get similar specification from the gunshop in Rugby for under 500 brand new as well in their own make. As an aside you can get any gun and get it cast by a gunsmith to left handed for around 80pounds. Hope this helps
  3. http://www.ukshootwarehouse.com/shop/PIGEON+DECOYING+EQUIPMENT/Batteries+and+Chargers/Battery+Large.html Try the above link for this 12v 17ah battery which will last all day and i think PW members get a 10%discount using a voucher code pinned somewhere on here. For chargers i would get one from Clarkes Tools which has a maximum charging current of 800ma and costs just under 12.00 Hope this helps
  4. Can anyone recommend a bag to carry all your gear in please? Saw this one advertised but dont know if it is any good. http://www.##############/?page=show-item&item=588 Thanks

    Flask

if you do buy a metal flask such as a Stanley be sure to keep your receipt as they do break although they are listed as unbreakable. Ive had two metal Stanley flasks lose their vacuum and another metal one Eurohike lose its vacuum. Now im using one stainless steel one i bought for 1.99 at the market and its still going strong after 4years.
  6. I know you say it has large holes but its the exact same type of net my uncle shot an average of 5000 pigeons a season from. The gaps come in useful for filling with natural foliage. Also if the gaps are an issue the net is 12x12 which is twice the size you need so what i done was cut it to 12x6 and plugged any big gaps by the bit of net that is surplus. Good Luck
  7. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/British-Army-Surplus-Store Try this link. I got a 12ftx12ft brand new net for 20pounds with hog rings etc. I believe delivery is 4.99. Good Luck
  8. If you look up BASC then go shooting and select Essex most clubs are listed under this. Regards
  9. Dont know if you are sorted out now however i was in exactly the same position as you last week. Have you tried Avalon Guns they have a brand new Betnisolli with good wood etc which has 3inch chambers and steel proofed 30inch barrels. The other place to try is Rugby gun shop who do their own brand which is same spec above for just under 500. Good Luck
  10. Anyone looking for hide poles should consider these budget options Poundland- Clothes line telescopic props are in grey or blue and obviously a pound each. Wilkinsons- Telescopic clothes line props in green are around 3.40 each. These are really sturdy and made of box section aluminium. Hope this helps.
