  1. Glad to see you had a nice day, it's a great location and I'd recommend any of you to go try it!
  2. Then maybe: http://ovendoorglue.co.uk/ One of the reviews on there was from some guy who mentioned it worked on his Prestige oven. Just over a fiver to give it a go... but I think it is just high temperature silicone.
  3. The ones i've changed before were just pushed into place with no adhesive... Maybe with a lug to hold it in place if I remember rightly. Silicone sealant of some sort would maybe do if you've definitely got a glue on one, I think normal ones are resistant up to a few hundred degrees, but they also make high heat resistant ones too. (I guess you're changing the seal rather than just reattaching btw? a replacement was about £10 I think but that's oven dependent of course)
  4. Brains on your face from necking it? How short are you? If you just take it by the head and swing it around at ankle height a few times till you can feel the neck break and consequently the bird to stop being alive then I don't think you'll get brains on your face Or get yourself a 'priest' to bash it on the head with. Before I knew about this technique I used to shoot the bird again with my air rifle but this method is much better.
  5. I was ravaged in the woods by a bird. That's my excuse and i'm sticking to it.
  6. Just a word of advice to anyone going on this shoot: take wellies. Oh, and maybe some spare trousers too!
  7. It was probably 10 yards and 50 feet and a good typo If it was anything like 100 yards then he's a very silly boy.
  8. Nice experience to have had and a nice write up too
  9. There were some also some Primos crow callers on there for £900 odd when I looked last night. I'm gonna start saving and get both of these bargains.
  10. Lucky catch there then - I figure he owes you a drink or two!
  11. 100 yards to one side AND 50 feet in the air? Glad to see you're still trying tho Lukey!
  12. I hope Doc has a license to shoot them too! I saw more cormorants than pigeons on my last morning out. Worrying signs :s
  13. How about a dating website for people with big guns? Would make it easier to find someone who won't object to us going shooting every weekend
  14. Great result really - and good to keep the farmer happy! well done
  15. Good result really! And addiction - hmm... more like a way of life
