  1. PM sent regarding .222 dies & SH [Edit] Just noticed the "not PM" bit. I want the .222 dies and shellholder !
  2. There have been times before when I've been disappointed because I did shoot something while out at night because it means carrying it with me ! Love being out, by myself, rifle on the shoulder, trying not to use the torch or fall into every hole for miles around. At home I can be asleep by 21:30, but I know if I were out on a permission I wouldn't begin to be tired until the sun was up.
  3. Clay trap collected, always a pleasure to catch up with Nick Thanks again.
  4. I've only bought 20 rounds of factory centrefire ammo, and of those I've used 11. Everything else I've shot has been reloaded, and I've developed my loads for accuracy not speed. Even if neck-sizing, your brass with stretch. When you start to get resistence when chambering (i.e. the bolt is slightly harder to close) then full-length them the next time you reload. There's nothing worse than homeloads that won't chamber !
  5. I came back from the US in April with .22LR/.17HMR mags, various reloading bits, an air rifle and an airsoft rifle in my checked luggage. Just told the check-in agent and he was happy as long as the rifles were unloaded. Think it depends on the TSA agents on the day to be frank, although strictly speaking you need an export licence for most firearms or parts.
  6. If Gloucestershire isn't too far, I'll check with our chairman. I use my 22-250 there, and I know someone that use a .17 Fireball.
  7. As far as I recall, minors shouldn't use firearms except on HO-approved ranges unless they have a ticket. As they can't own a firearm, and you can only let an adult use one of yours in your presence, there isn't scope to teach under-FAC-age kids to shoot except at a range. When my FEO was here he claimed that my 10-yo could use my HMR, I questioned this but he was adamant. So I checked up elsewhere to be sure.
  8. See if you can get some TR140, here it's £55 a kilo and is similar to N140. I use it in my 22-250 and 7mm-08. Agree with Varget being cleaner though.
  9. Hi, have a friend who's is very interested in the lab, can you send me the contact details please ? Thanks Tony
  10. Shame Lee don't list a .204 length gauge & holder ! Or a die ! Are they available as a custom only ?
