  1. There is not much I can add to what uncle said. I have been shooting auto for years ,still you will have to let me know how you get on because I was thinking of getting my boy one
  2. I have had the same problem with my 391 beretta now and again. I put it down to felt cartrigdes. I find they run really dirty and if i put a lot throw then the gun might flame but not all yhe time. I dont get the problem with plastic......I have to ask do you use wd40 or some thing like it to clean your guns becouse that will made them flame well
  3. I am looking at buying a 3.5" mag browning maxus if so is there anything i need to know before i put my hard earned cash down. Is there any problems that people have had and if so what ? . The gun fits nice and comes up well and for the monie new it is at the right price.
  4. I love my old donky disco. Always starts. Always get me were i need to be
  5. I have a grand Cherokee on a 2002 with the strate 5 merc lump. It drives like a car not like a 4x4. It is ok off road but not the best. I have had problem with it but it was at the right price. I had looked at TD5 of the the same year and they were 3 time the price and look at the greaf they give. The biggest problem i have had with it was keeping the wife out of it. It was never there when i want it. I got it to shoot and take the dogs out but they are far to nice inside for that. When i think about it OK at the start i was pulling my hair out, but who is selling a good secondhand motor now we all run them till they stop. You dont change a motor becouse we get board of it anymore. When i think about it mine looked good and sounded good for ten days but it was a pup. I put some monie in to it and it runs sweat now giving anywere for 35mpg on a run to 28 round town that cant be all that bad for the size of it. Now would i buy one again YES now i know what to look for Buy the way i ended up with an very old disco in the end for shooting and off roading(and the wife hate it with a passion)the jeep on the other hand drives 100x better on the road
  6. If you point a gun at someone it is not an act of defence. It is an act of aggression lets be clear on that. Anyone that thinks diffident is misguided. It is one of the most aggressive things you can do.If you point a weapon at someone it means you want to do them harm. How can that be a act of defence
  7. Nigel teague is your man.I was shocked in a nice way to here your browning had a good trigger. Browning and miroku are normally woolly as hell
  8. If you want to go cheap and secondhand then an old remington 1100 will do the job. If you want to go new any of the beretta auto's will do just fine
  9. I would go with the Beretta all the way.. Not really sure about the realtree it comes off after time and you are lift with a white patch. I would just go with a black plastic stock and forend, and save the money you would have spent for cartridges
  10. Whitby do some great knifes for about 20 quid. they hold there edge well too
  11. My old 1100 hates all Comp-X with a passion but it will shoot most 28gr load. 32gr loads right up 2/3.4 magnum with know problems at all. The 3" magnum 1100 i have will only work right on 3" magnums
  12. I have a 1968 remington 1100 and it has never missed a beat but it is like a race horse, you have to feed it good food and keep it clean and you will have no problems. I also have a 391 urika2 , that is like a mongral dog. You can feed it what you like and never clean it , beat the **** out of it.It will just keep coming back for more
  13. WD40 Is water based and will take the blueing off after time... real bad stuff for guns
