  1. sounds like you might need some KY Jelly and surgical gloves and someone behind your dog to guide him in.
  2. depending on the job cordless washers do not have the pressure of mains washers, but if I was going for one I would be looking at the Screwfix titan range, I have a number of the Titan products and cannot fault them….https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-tti855prw-22bar-18v-1-x-5-0ah-li-ion-cordless-hand-held-pressure-washer/123pv I have this pressure washer, had it about 4 years, its powerful and as lasted longer than any of the Karcher I have had….https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb1800prw-140bar-electric-high-pressure-washer-1-8kw-230v/564kh
  3. They look genuine, I down loaded this one.
  4. You dont see many AYA sxs sidelocks with a pistol grip stock and double triggers, any chance of some close-ups of the action?
  5. I am yet to be convinced about big cats roaming our countryside.
  6. I have seen a couple of complete novices shoot a big bag on rape stubble.
  7. Cant beat a chicken done a rotisserie, that Guinea Fowl looks perfect and I bet it tasted as nice as it looks.
  8. I don't really understand pigeons but from my observations on winter rape they seem more shy of the rotary in January and February, perhaps because they have been shot at so much they become wary of the pattern we lay out for them, its possible they learn the danger signs….a number of static birds close to cover (a hedge) two birds doing tight circles and square-ish box that someone pops up from and takes a shot at them, now if you get 5 or 10 birds coming into this pattern and you manage to kill 2 the ones that got away have been educated. Dead birds are the best decoys and a rotary works more often than not.
  9. Yep, think you have cracked it now, Funny how the trip plate was bent low, never seen that on genuine fen traps before, as I said before, fen traps when set correctly will catch, no need for messing with them.
  10. The flight/movement of the birds on a rotary is totally unnatural but they do seem to pull birds more often than not. Drones.

    Worm?

Found this on the lawn today, there were about half a dozen of the, they are about the thickness of cotton and about 4 inches long, never seen them before, any idea what they are worm.mp4
  13. Well done, your now a member of the fen trap clan. Did you catch it where the trap is or in the box?
  14. Ditto, I Just pulled an old trap out the shed and when its set the release arm is fully engaged with the hook, pushed the trip plate down about a ¼ of an inch and it tripped, obviously it can be set a lot finer than this.
  15. I would be inclined to shorten the brass release arm, marked with a star. When the trip plate is level with the upright steel flange the hook should be fully engaged with the brass release arm, looks like you will have to file some off the brass release arm, as I said it looks faulty to me.
  16. That looks faulty to me, it should have tripped way before that.
  17. Over the years I have used these traps on numerous occasions and never found the need to mess with them. They work straight out the box if set correctly. I can only think you have some bad traps?

  20. Wife decided to add some broccoli, it was very nice considering it was the wrong time of year. Photography is not up-to your standards, sorry.
  21. S##t, better tell the wife then.
  22. You'll need a sleep after that, looks nice though, we've got smoked haddock, peas, grilled balsamic tomato's and boiled new spuds, yum.
  23. Bretton Gaucher G12 Phantom fully moderated .410 shotgun. Been reading a bit about these moderated shotguns and it seems they have got some good reviews with regards handling and very low report, even with 3” cartridges.
  24. Another picture of the gun, I think? Yep it looks like there is something missing where the rod to the left of the picture sticks out of the bolt.
