Steve try this. One jar of Sharwoods Kung Po sauce, good hand full of finely chop onion, whole cucumber sliced on mandolin, about 2mm thick, half a teaspoon of garlic and ginger paste (comes in squeezy tube) corn flour to thicken. Cut meat into bite size pieces (we use chicken) put peanut oil in woke and get it almost smoking, put chicken in and cover woke (stops oil covering hob) cook for about 2 mins turning chicken as you go, then put chopped onion in stir fry for 2 min then add sliced cucumber, garlic and ginger, stir fry 2 min then add the Kung Po sauce, stir fry and heat for another 2 or 3 min, we like our cucumber al-dente. Tip, we use the whole jar as we like plenty of sauce but you do get a little water from the cucumber so I use some corn flour to thicken to our liking, serve with noddles, rice or chips, we like chips.

The way this is being put across to the public there's not a lot they can do.

Not sure where you could get part machined shotgun tubes from, you can use mild steel but it’s not the best of steel, a lot of shotgun barrels are made from 4140 steel, you can buy 4140 steel tubes but there would be a fair amount of machining needed.

Agree to a point but there is still plenty of land/farms to shoot on but most are not suitable for driven pheasant/partridge shooting.

Its difficult to compare wild bird meat to any of the farmed meat you mention, I would agree with Weihrauch17 in that the taste and texture of wood pigeon is a little like beef if cooked properly, the only way you will know is by trying different birds, each as its own flavour, is it only bird meat you are interested in?
