  1. You're all making me feel like a dosser with my Musto brogues, even though they cost similar or more than some of yours!
  2. Unfortunately Peter Coombes (the man behind Badgercourt) is no longer with us, his son did take over the affix, but I can't recall if he has continued the line.
  3. are Newflame still going? think they bred more traditional well coloured dogs and favored the more stocky type - more traditional old style before the white flashy trial whippets came along!!!
  4. Precisely what I was meaning in my first post, I am a long serving BASC member and at the very least I would have hope for some form of communication from the permanent staff who I help to fund at BASC HQ!!
  5. Hopefully not taken as a dig, as that wasn't what was meant, just a bit miffed about the HQ secret squirrel regime! Any way good luck in the elections
  6. I'm still waiting for an official statement from the BASC as to what happened 6 months ago when there was the ruckus about the HQ staff! Its the least they could do to explain what happened to the membership.
  7. Doesn't sound like anything a bit of baler twine wouldn't cure
  8. But a fair bit more expensive, based on new prices😟
  9. Much what I found out, so I guess its time to have a long hard think!
  10. Many thanks, guess I'll have to put myself off the metallic blue then, which I quite fancied Sounds about the same driving as I presently do!
  11. Starting to think about a truck change, currently on a Mitsubishi (2010) L200 and can't really justify the size anymore so looking at something smaller and more practical (this could be my last one as old age has definitely arrived!), average off road use, not megga mud plugging, just average farm tracks with some mud and ruts etc. So looking for actual owners views on the Dacia Duster 4x4. Cheers
  12. My personal preference is for Lyalvale Express 6 shot, 28 grams Special Game, never blamed the cartridge, it was always me!
  13. Cheers - let me know how you get on and if you need to keep fire extinguisher to handy when the stalk starts to melt
  14. Worryingly few replies, maybe we are the only two L200 drivers who have this problem, seeing as every other car that approaches me at night seems to have laser search lights instead of normal headlights!
  15. I'll improved mine (new shape 2010) with a couple of candles, they are desperate - I'll watch with interest
  16. Thanks for that, never actually seen one in the flesh, so assumed it was brass. Think I may give the ultra clean gear a go.
  17. Thanks, pretty sure the ultra clean jag is brass, looking at the adds, but if yours works why spend more!
  18. Do you just use the Napier ultra clean material on a normal jag or have you got the extra long Napier ultra clean jag?
  19. Just happened upon this Magic Bore Shotgun cleaning system, can't decide if its any better than normal/traditional cleaning gear! Mind you not cheap the Hand Kit cost £60.00 plus £10.00 P&P and a lot of it is consumable!! Maybe its aimed at the "all the gear, no idea types" then again maybe its brilliant. Still undecided on Napier Ultra Clean cleaning system over conventional, mainly because I'm too tight to buy some and try it! Any thoughts peoples?
