  3. Another Video of a big cat today in the Sun big cat? am not 100% convinced with this one although i beleive they could possibly be out there.
  4. On the big cat subject  read an article in the paper the other day and a few have been shot in the UK and ireland although not recently. Saying that if they where released when the dangerous wild animals act came into force in 1976 it did well as it was only shot in 1991. It said the cat was an adult lynx.

    Snow

Started here in wigan about 15 mins ago and its sticking, grounds been frozen here for a few days now though.
  6. I used to put a few pairs of my old rugby socks over the top of the Bunny type water feeder i used for my ferrets, i cant ever remember them freezing over. The hutch front was also covered at night with a hessian sheet like the ones bricklayers use to protect there brickwork from frost. Like this one Hession frost protection
  7. I live only about 2 mile from the shop and have noticed recently that the sign on the main road has come down, i will have a drive down tomorrow and see if they are still there. Have only ever been in the shop twice, both times it was locked and the owner was in the office downstairs and he unlocked it for me to have a mooch around. (Never bought anything) Do all my shopping at McAvoys
  8. how many brick is in it? there are roughly 60 brick in a m2. Dont know about down south but up here we are paying about £320-£400 per thousand brick.
  9. 20% for me, now where did i put my flat cap and whippet?
  10. now i am no carol vorderman but to me the failure rate of the uk training course looks like it is 75%, which would make it harder than the US one thanks for pointing this out, like you said looks like a good read though
  11. Think the wigan one will be the closest to you mate, i have never been myself but heres the link My link
  12. Nice bag of squizers you got there an two pigeons for the pot
  13. Gears 3 only came out today, and you not even opened it for a go :yp:
  14. check out all the clays they missed on the floor at 1:30 and like Nial said it was morning when they started and nearly dark by the time he hit one. Fair play to him though, i wouldnt have hit it.
  15. Done pal, for those that dont remember this My link
  16. It helps if you read the full sentance It looks pretty healthy to me saying that you said it had a bad leg and was full of ticks What i was trying to say was that it looked in good condition (well feed, good coat) saying that it had a bad leg. I doubt if he saw the ticks on its neck before he shot it. Dont see the point in shooting them to be honest, unless he has free range chickens of pheasants on the land. Even then there first choice food is rodents and rabbits.
  17. I know effort goes into pigeon shooting, we all have to do reccys and unless i have missed a technolgical break through no ones car runs on fresh air yet. Unlike you i can't offer to take any one shooting because i dont own shooting rights to the land but on the flip side because of this any one can go and knock on the farmers door like i did, and if you respect his rules he will let you shoot. Been today and as i was leaving 2 other lads where just setting up, i told them them how its been shooting, where they are coming in from and the best time of day to get them to decoy and didnt charge em out for it. Oh well at least i wont get them paper cuts on my fingers flicking through my property portfolio. But i bet the farmers happy there will be less pigoens eating his crop.
  18. I didnt say i wouldnt pay to shoot, I am a member of a clay club and pay to shoot there because the traps dont fly out of the trees and set them selves up. If i wanted to go on driven shoot i would expect to pay through the nose because of the cost, time and effort thats gone into it. Those birds havent just flown out of the nearest wood have they? Its people who buy up Vermin shooting rights like you that are putting the sport of pigeon shooting out of reach of a lot of young lads who are trying to get into shooting. Get back to counting your money if thats what makes you happy
  19. Whos the fool then because the farmer lets me shoot vermin for free, your probably paying 20k because you have the game rights. In my eyes i am doing the farmer a favour by getting rid of vermin that are damaging his crop and costing him money, and he is doing me a BIG BIG favour by letting me do something on his land that i enjoy.
  20. Are all the pigeons flying around on the backs of pheasants pal? :look:
  21. Does any one ever get caught creating and distributing a virus? Whats the punishment if they do?
