Anyone who think's an airgun will not kill is HIGHLY MISTAKEN! And clearly either stupid or misinformed. You may well have set-out to give a totally valid opinion, but gave the total wrong attitude towards airguns. (Think before we post guy's)

Thank's to both, I should have mentioned, I already have the pin feathers, I was refering to making a hat feather from the beak and pintail, as I have heard of many times before. Thank's FTS.

First thing's first, I shot my first woodcock yesterday, which I am well chuffed about, but I have heard you can place the feather on the a piece of the beak of the woodcock to make a hat feather, anyone know what I'm on about or how to do it? P.S. Links and pictures much appreciated, thank's!

On section B of the form it states you must give the landowners/club secretarys name and address, but the question is is it accepptable to use the tennant farmer or gamekeepers name instead? or does it have to be the land owners? the reason i ask is because I dont know the landowner personally and have always dealt with the farmers/gamekeepers. thanks!

yes, thank's mate, I just recieved a pm from 'dusk2dawn' saying he had the same problem with his identical scope and it may prehaps be a bad batch?

were do i place the shim in relation to the mounts? and do i cut it to the size of the mounts mate?

O.k. i recently bought a hawke night eye sr12 and started to zero it but have run out of upward clicks, how would I shimm my scope? I DONT WANT TO CRUSH THE TUBE! how many layers of negatives should i use?....

So you are telling us it is o.k. to shoot 50yds away from a hotel with high chance of either A.) Damaging the property e.g. Windows. or even worse B.) indangering the hotels residence with high possibilities of a riccy. You my friend are very very STUPID.... Heres some food for thought. BASC say.... Whenever you shoot, make sure you know where the pellet is going to end up before you pull the trigger. Above all, safety is the most important consideration. Always know where the muzzle of your air rifle is pointing and NEVER point it in an unsafe direction. A public place is anywhere where the public are allowed to go even though they may have to pay to be there. Roads, streets, footpaths, public parks, play areas and canal towpaths are all examples of public places. To shoot across a footpath or bridleway may constitute a public nuisance or wilful obstruction. There may also be a liability in negligence if it is known that people are on, or likely to be on, the path.

Yes, just me and my dad, me with my semiauto and my dad with his berretta, couldnt possibly comment on how many carts was fired *****! but my mum came out with supplies, not a happy bunny! Started at about 11am finally stopped shooting at 8pm and by the time we packed up it was 10:30pm! Also had to borrow a wheel barrow off a very kind fellow so we could get them back *****!
