  1. Doh !!! Couldn't you get one up quick once you realized it may have stopped for a second as most do just before they go through a hedge or something
  2. Seating from ogive, im glad someone believes, for a moment I thought I was alone lol.
  3. All measured from ogive, same batch. Kent I think I'll have to disagree with your ideas regarding seating depth affecting group size's.
  4. If it's a multi piece rod I wouldn't, all mine are 1 piece plastic coated, while your buying get a bore guide and some brushes. And try a different scope. what rests are you using
  5. Start with basics, scope mounts tight ? stock screws tight ? shoot with mod off ? Eliminate those issue's first, trust me loose mounts are a common cause. After that try different ammo,
  6. There was a big difference in seating depths should have been 2.0975 and it was 2.0200 couldn't have been a confident thingy, I didn't realise the mistake til I got home.
  7. I think you need look more at the availability of the powder nowadays, that being the deciding factor. As for seating depth I take on board Kents comments and seems very knowledgeable, but !!! I may have an odd ball rifle but if I alter my seating depths I alter my groups fron 1 inch to 0.3 of an inch.
  8. H380 in mine, it works well and I have a decent stock.

    Been naughty

Not 100% in the case re mobile phones, but if it was a speeding offence then yes you should inform the insurance company. Just because you do the course you have still committed the offence. This info was directly from my insurance company after I renewed my insurance, my wife was caught speeding and I asked about the offence and her taking the course before she was put on my policy as named driver. If it had increased my payment she would have been using the bus ;-)
  10. Similar thing happened years ago at a jewelers in Burton On Trent a wally threw 1/2 a house brick at the window expecting it to smash, wrong ! It bounced back and hit him in the face, caught shortly after.

    crikey

They're not a bad price, I've just put an order in for 1000 apparently they're good for rabbit's. I'll let you know what they're like.. LOL
  12. What with Air rifle, 22lr 17hmr Me personally I just love having a day out from early morning till evening set up near your favourite rabbit spot with cans of pop, flask of coffee, butties rifle bullets and just wait. You will get a better understanding of there behaviour, habits and numbers by just watching If I wanted a few for the pub I would go out late evening with lamp and rifle.
  13. Over take If only there was a chance, yes I drive a 4x4 but unfortunately its not equipped with vertical take off just yet. I am normally very courteous when driving but when a bunch of cyclists can hear you coming up behind, turn round and still don't move I just find it very rude and feel very tempted to just keep getting closer and closer.
  14. Its so annoying when you get a group of around a dozen going allong a country lane all in a pack bunched together and will not ! move into single file for love nor money.
  15. Totally agree with above 2 comment's, how many of us males wouldn't have tried or dreamt of handing out a portion to a few of pans people, even though you may have been under age. Patricia Dee Dee Wild, oh ! Yeh
  16. Just give them some horn, wind down you're passenger windows and prepare for a verbal encounter whilst passing rather close, then on your way. But its a definite no no to ram them from behind unless of course you formally introduced yourself.

    Hedgehog

You want to hear them when there at it there right noisy
  18. As i said earlier, you are improving your house for your future, hopefully for long term, you have damp in the bathroom, not an uncommon place to have damp. Artex was invented to cover up all sorts of faults, cracks in ceilings and movement in bricks/cracks appearing in walls. For a long term fix ensure the roof isnt the cause,,, dont just bodge over it with more boarding, for so little cost do a propper job. £5 a sheet and a bag of plaster
  19. Can't see b all after having someone shine a light in there eye's.
  20. I would have removed the ceiling boarding and replaced them and have then reskimmed, you would have then noticed if there was damp behind from leaking roof. That would rule that problem out and given a good finish on the ceiling. Then checked for damp lower down the walls, wast water pipes from the sink and bath/shower. Having sorted out the possible causes then fit ventilation fan

    FOX CUBS

Most round my bits were sorted early while still embryos, ;-) out Tuesday night see if anything is about.
  22. Gun as in what rifle shot gun Rifle--- check the bore is clean, run a couple of patches through with a cleaner followed by dry ones.
  23. Not got over my side of the Trent then. Its a tad strange that only one is seen but no other signs, i may not have heard though.
  24. Its more important to have a good quality glass rather than magnification, i have a 3-12x50 on a 30.06 a 4-14 on 22.250 and also on a HMR then a bit OTT 5-30x50 on another 22.250 its only used anywere near 30 on days but when the light begins to fade even top glass starts to fail as you wind the mag up, not really the glass but the light transmision is greatly reduced at high mag. HMR i would say 3-12 is ideal
  25. Your the man for the job Nick If its a big one just let me know i'm sure the mighty would love to oblige
