  5. Yes its not good, 250 acres waiting to be mowed and bailed, located a fox earth but no good as there covered by 3ft of grass nothing can be done around the farms toooooo wet, i had a call 2 weeks ago, it was all being planned for a mowing session but got rained off, i went for a walk round to see the bottom of the fields had had a river going through them, that put the water level at about 6-7 ft.

ITS ONLY A FILM I get worried when some folk start to see what goes on in film as actual true life. And not see it as what it is, a story a jackanory, fiction or as a child we called them "fairy tales" I thought it was quite good myself, i just need to practice on shooting of the helicopter rotor head. Not quite that good yet but getting there
  9. Here is a thought for you all, Some years ago on a Saturday afternoon we cashed up at the Butchers. Did the normal, checked the tills placed the float for Monday in the safe and took the remainder £ notes and cheques to the night safe. We used to go in pairs or maybe sometimes 3 of us used to go if we had a feeling  Any way off we go round to the night safe its was a walk of around 1/4 of a mile not far but with a few grand (£5000 ish)in the wallet far enough. We always took care looking at everyone around, clocking cars coming up from behind :look: watching a gang of youths around the phone box :look: alwys expecting the worst. When we got to the safe we would seem to chuck the wallet in like grease lightning some times struggling to get your fingers out of the way quick enough. This time was like all the other times, no problem the deed was done. Only as soon as the safe door was shut this bloke came running past like Linford (well a white version) then another after him with some women shouting- "STOP THIEF HE'S GOT MY BAG" Well Linford was fast, but he did loose eventually the chap came down with a bloody good rugby tackle got him down a good un Well to say it was a job well done would be an understatement. People all around were looking, some coming over for a closer look to get involved,or maybe to get a peace of the glory. There was one big problem, the chap that was on the deck, who was nursing a cut knee ripped jacket and smashed ego was actually the womans husband chasing the bloke who nicked her bag. We were lucky, or should i say her husband was lucky, if we,or that may have happened in the USA she could of been minus a husband as well as her bag. Quite easily to make a mistake, and not being able to go back.

  11. Its been quite a few years since i did any running but have to agree with the young lady Mrs Sweepy. 2 years since your last session on the fags i would question if your lungs have fully recovered (if they ever do ) You will find it allot more enjoyable i am sure. But to be honest IMO i think running will create joint problems later in life.

  18. looks light blight, if it is then is then its reportable. And will require felllng and burning. ASAP. get pro advice, i am no expert.
  19. why bother with a TV in the bedroom anyway Too old for other type's entertainment
  20. Z6i 5-30x50 just a little improvement I missed the red dot on my IOR,it just gave up the ghost, so treated myself. In my oppinion it gives the edge in low ligh conditions having a fine reticule, i also find it quicker to get on to the target. If your not sure try and get out and have a look through some.
  21. If it shows this much care for there employees, it doesnt deserve to run a paper round let alone any other business.By law any accident at work resulting with the IP needing time off work should be reported through the RIDDOR system. If all info is correct then the company has left itself wide open for claims, and possibly cease buisness
  22. I have a pair of Skarpa, on average they last me around 10 or so years, i am now on my 3rd pair. I have had the Manta Atack or as close to that model/style as they do. Extremly good in all weathers, -15 heavy snow 2ft deep, water not a problem. Walking in wet grass again not a problem. Expect to pay around £150-£180
  23. If it was that close you could have taken a head shot
  24. could be thread lock on them, if you replace it use loctite 222 only. not super glue. I may have an old schematic diagram somewere of the Mk1 pm me your add i will post. thats if i find it. plus some "O" rings. You may be lucky
