Hello again! Im doing a school project in Design Technology at the moment. Here is some of the brief ... "Choosing a hobby of your choice highlight a product. You must show through presentation skills, exploded views and 3 dimensional drawing skills the saftey aspects involved legalisation and companies in place to certify safety, includind their company logos" I have chosen a shotgun as my product, could anybody give me any information about legislation, companys, proof marks etc etc preferably with sources (eg web site address). Also my main sticking point for the moment is finding exploded diagrams of shotguns! Does anybody know were i can get hold of these or has some that they could email me? Thanks in advance Young Shot

Well mayb you are such a good shot that mayb your the reason for the decline in animal population?! but i agree that there seems to be less and less animals in the area. There seemed to be hundreds of crow around about 4 months ago, ut no there is hardly any!! Young Shot

im 16 as well and just use ordinary ear muffs!! i do have abit of trouble finding the direction the noise is coming from with them tho! (if i hear it at all!). Hope this helps! Young Shot

Hes shooting the pigeons that are going to eat all of the seed that will be sown in the next few weeks and damage his crop next year!! I think you will find that this is old now and the part of the wording of the general licence has been changed. i remeber several articals about it in shooting magazinse about a year ago. That wording is not true the pset controler has to be satisified that scaring tecniques will not work, then its alrite to shoot the things. Meaning you turn up to your field, think to your self that if you scare the pigeons then they will just come back so it inefective, then start shooting. Young Shot

if not done correctly could end the animal up in more pain and stress. Walking to a fence post is going to cause it alot more pain and suffering! Hold the rabbit by its hind legs, then give it a sharp karaty type chop on the back of the head! i have not found this to damage the meat in any way. When i was out shooting with one of my school friends he pricked a particularly angry crow that wouldnt let me come close enought to pick it up. Not being able to find a stick close to hand... i took the shotgun apart and whacked it on the head with the barrels!! They needed a wipe down to get the blood of after mind you!! Young Shot

The maths show il have to cycle around 35 miles per day to keep to the timeline I bought a Giant OCR 4 for my birsthday back in july, its a road/touring bike and i bought it for £269 from a local bike shop. i can easily do 70 miles every sat with out getting to tired to do anything eles on the weekend! If you are training for 2years then u should easily be able to do 50 miles per day cutting your time down considerably! i would recomend a road bike because they are made for distances and comfort, where as MTB are not! New tired/ inertubes are resonable in expensive, but unfortunatly the OCR 4 dosnt have disk brakes. i think it is posible to fit luggage racks, mud gaurds etc Hope this helps!! Young Shot
