  1. Be nice to know, sorry was trying to get a poll to work on the Gat pistol subject
  2. Its great to see what everyone started with, Gat seems popular and thankfully owning one did not put us off, love to get hold of one for nostalgias sake. Did anyone have one of those Crosman pump up rifles, always wondered what they were like.
  3. Hi everyone, this is a brill forum, learnt loads already and bought a gun from here as well, how good is that.
  4. I have the FX4 with water bleed and filter, filter is just a 177 cleaning pellet, so easily replace, it fills my s400 up without breaking into a sweat, necessary exercise for someone my age, I do use the tanks at the club though

Hi I am a born again airgunner like you and have just bought a AA S400 superlite, it is absolutly brill, you will be bowled over by the accuracy of modern pcp's. I joined a club as well as you get loads of advice, good networking and loads of practice without upsetting the neighbours. Good luck.
  6. I look back nostalgically at my very first guns. 1. Gat pistol s. ASI Paratrooper repeater 3. Diana, not sure model. Gat was great fun, had to hide it from my parents under the floorboards, unfortunatly it fell down between the cavity wall and no amount of amatuer grappling with hooks and magnets recovered it, bet its still there! ASI, later Gamo was a brill rifle, hardly any power, even with new spring fitted, but good pose and cool factor. Diana was supposed to have been tune by Airgun Aid, it was ****, no anti beartrap and my mate fired it with the barrell down and cocked, it bent it up, good for birds in trees. Anyway it would be nice to hear what guns other people started with, probably first three to keep it snappy.
  7. I worked really hard for Miss Farrow, she was an English teacher as well, and very popular with the fathers at open evenings, mini skirts, but i am going back to the 70's.
  8. I am looking for any land, however small, to shoot on in the Stockport, Cheshire area. I am fully insured and a member of an Air rifle club and can guarentee a professional and courteous approach to your vermin control, I can provide character references if required.
  9. Doews anyone know if Air Guns Direct is anything to do with Pellpax as the websites seem very similar.
  10. I think you can use Danish oil if its Beech,Walnut Oil if its Walnut, can get it from B and Q, but its cheaper elsewhere, don't keep the used rags in a plastic bag for next time, as they can self ignite :o :o
  11. Lovely gun, I have just bought an S400F superlite and am well impressed, taking it to the range on Sunday to zero it up, My pumps not arrived yet and am down to 50llbs!! Just need to find a permission in cheshire now.
  12. Hi I would love one of the bow backed ones for my ferrets, it will have to be post, but am willing to wait, let me know how much and how to pay. In Stockport. Cheers Andy
