I use the rubber Deeks as I can get 2 dozen in my game bag, great on slack water or splashes but no good on the tide. Also an issue with sourcing them, had to get the last box from the states but can't find them anywhere now.

You will get a good condition Ford Ranger for £5000. Stay away from the older l200 and navara as mentioned above.

I've shot on a great duck shoot in west wales called Cefngwyn hall for a few seasons. Bags can be as many as 400 between 8 guns. I think it's advertised in gunsonpegs. Price wise I think it's £500 pg.

Depending on how and where I drove mine I used to get 310-330 miles from a tank. I think it was a 59 litre tank.
