We ve found the same problem, in our area, if you have a look around youll find they are still on rape in gaps and short areas, youve got to get out on foot and look for them on the rape, shot 50 odd in two days they seem to be a little late going for the Peas this year but i think they ll hit them with a vengence when they get a bit taller

Out at the Woodies last week, not a bad day but i noticed that every bird i picked up (after the dog had let me have it) was really thin ,razor sharp breast bone like a winter woodie, is this because they are too busy He ing and She ing, or are they off their food.

being a keen enviormentilist (hope i spelt it write) are they fibre or plastic wad

Please can anyone help me , i ve just built a magnet using a wiper motor from a 340DL Volvo, it works ok from a 12v bike battery but it spins like a mad thing, how do i slow it down before it takes off. Cheers
