On the basis I am correct to assume you are female................... My wife has recently started shooting and since I work away a fair bit she often goes to Park Lodge without me. Like you she prefers to go with someone so usually takes a friend or relative. I started shooting around Easter this year and have now got comfortable with the gun. I can hit the easier clays but am struggling to do the proper stuff. For those that know Worsley, I can do all the practice stands at the front pretty well, am ok on most of Sporting B but struggle on Sporting A and am really cr*p once I head further in. I think I need some coaching to put me right and help me move on - any recommendations?? Anywhere in the northwest would be do-able. I can get to Worsley, NWSS, Altcar no problem and maybe Catton Hall (just not been yet) and during the week is better for me.

My dad taught me always to brush first, push a patch through to clear the debris and then use bore cleaner (if necessary) to get the **** out - then carry on to the oiling etc. He also had an old tale along the lines that the number of times you push/pull the brush should be the same as the number of cartridges you fired - I don't quite hold with that these days though - must be getting a bit lazy or the bores are getting better finished?

If anyone has an Arrow Laserfire unit they would like to sell then I would be very interested - condition etc not important as long at it is in full working order. I am in Doncaster but travel the M62 a fair bit across to Liverpool so could collect/pay cash anywhere along M62 area or we could organise postage - whatever suits. Cheers

Seen some recently on ebay for £50 brand new (seller is called jenneau) - they are usually around £120 new so seems a good deal
