  3. Thanks for the info. Definitely 19mm though.
  4. Hi As per the title, I'm looking for 30mm Scope Mounts for 19mm Dovetail. They're for an old BSA .22 Hornet CF. If anyone has any or knows where I can get some, that would be great thanks. Thanks Eifion

  6. Hi All I have a Stewart Better Shot Maker that I don't use and I was wondering if anyone could advise me what it is worth please? I had it along with a 12 gauge press and other bits about 4 years ago and have never used it. I plugged it in today and I can feel it getting warm and then switched it off. It comes with the original instruction manual. Any help will be gratefully appreciated. Thanks Eifion

  17. I thought that i'd update you all on my search for vest and my cadets shooting. Yesterday, we held the first clay shoot. We had 15 cadets, ranging from 14 to 19, some adult staff and also the Chairman of the local Royal British Legion. What a great day. Seeing the joy on the young cadets faces when they smashed a few clays was priceless. The Royal British Legion have booked a members shoot for next month and the next batch of cadets are being organised in readiness for the next cadet shoot. Invitation letters are being prepared for the local blue light service and other youth groups. We all learned a few lessons, we need to rotate the shooters a bit quicker, we need more eye protection and more peaked caps (as this slowed the shooters rotating the stands, they had to swap eye protection and hats). The main lesson, don't eat so much at the BBQ lunch (too stuffed to move afterwards) With regards to the vest, our hunt continues. I have emailed numerous suppliers (very little response, just one supplier replying to say they can supply), I have also emailed numerous cartridge manufacturers ( only 2 replies, 1 are in the process of changing designs and will email me later and the other are busy in a show). A bit disappointing really, it's not as if I was trying to blag them for nothing, it cheeses me off when companies & suppliers can't even be bothered to email you back. On another note, I had a problem with the new Larporte (which were bought brand new in 2010 and stored ever since) i emailed laporte-cpc and received a response virtually before I sent the email after a few questions the problem was sorted, great service, I might have to ask them about vests Anyway, off to clean the shotguns now. Thanks all
