  1. Thats a shame , i think its that stuff thanks.
  2. I have been told that someone is looking at coating lead shot for waterfowling its been in the shooting press over here as anyone read anything about this i dont get any mags at all. Even if this is done do you think they whould acept it as its still lead at the end of the day isnt it.
  3. wanted double hammergun 10-12-16-20 bore , armatalia armi san marco or baikal anything like this realy. want it for ferreting always use to use one for this and just starting back into ferreting again.
  4. If your mate has a few thousand or knows where i can get some i want to shake my Baikal MP153 to bits with them are they bringing them back in again now? :yp: :yp:
  5. Any one wanting these Rotweil 36 gram 6.5 shot cartridges, can buy them from Claywrth shooting suplies In notts (retford) 01777 816522 i just bought 2000 (90 quid a thousand same as richmond, he had 1000 left but he can get them if you give himn a couple of days notice he says.
  6. The sweedish use a small beagle type dog for deer stalking and hare hunting, its not a teckel but called a drever a bit like a basset sort of animal, it has short legs, they are very popular over there, every other dog is a drever. You will strugle to get one here i think, the bavarian mountain hound is suposed to be good i think jan anderews has them from what i hear. Standard dashounds are all show ones over here i think but i think they are used by the continentals to. Amore feesable option is the HPRs and of course the german shorthair is the most common of these, but as mentioned dont forget the good old Lab and springer, the only down side is they are just as expensive nearly now as the more versatile breeds like HPRs so i think a lot more continental breeds will start to fillter into shooting now the breeders are milking the money on the bread and butter dogs you may as well have steak at a penny more
  7. That guy has the exact same problem as me, not to wory i will endevour to persavere.
  8. I dont doubt its a great site but i have never been able to get on it ever it just sends me an email i do exactly what it says with my eseboard account i use the common an***a*e*i*s pass word and get sent right back around again i let my email show all the rest just cant get on let alone login at all. its the hardest forum i ever went on for sure all you lot must be rocket scientists us mere further education teachers have no chance at all, i whould love to meet eric at a game fair and tell him get me on its very frustrating going around in circles.
  9. I have tried to get on here about 6 times now it just keeps sending me round and round untill i get dizzy any one else have this problem. why did he make it private.?
  10. platitude is that like a platypuss only biger are they legal quary i thought the were protected like crocks or do you need a hunting licence like for roos kober
  11. The old extrema had a more broad pistol grip the new gun is a bit more comfy on the grip they say, and the 2 is fitted with a recoil redecer in the but aparently other than that not a lot its the same basic gun, you can have a fancy foresight to at extra money.
  12. I have three words to say about the Beretta 390-1 series , SINGLE ACTION BAR.
  13. The Remington 1100 has proved its self over years, they are strong and reliable with few faults, they have the problem of the gas seal but these are cheap as chips, few guns handle as nice and one size by and large fits all shooters There are a flush of new semis out there at this moment of time. many need to prove themselves yet, the old 1100 as stood the test of time. they have a steel action and are strong. I have a 20 bore 1100 and it is a nice gun to use i have had a problem with operation but i genuinely believe its just this gun of mine not the breed as a whole, i have had many 1100s in years gone by and i have had next to no problems with them, The finish on latter 1100s and 1187s is not what it once was and they do rust a bit in waterfowling use, To pick a gun out of this glutt of new autos is a tough one realy, i bought a Baikal MP153 and i am very happy with it, i think its the best gun for my purposes at this time available, My next choice whould be the stoiger M2000 but its only a 3 inch gun and i wanted the 3-1/2 inch for waterfowling on the coast. The escorts are cheap and those that are using them seem happy enough with them. mid range guns from fabarm and franchi winchester and mossberg are just that mid ground when you go up to the Berettas and bennelis you are into double barrel gun money not semi auto. the extrema at 1300 pounds is just too mutch money for a salt marsh for me any way. I think Berettas are over rated at that price an auto is an auto at the end of the day, and if you look what you get for your money i am just not convinced by the fancy finish and the name. What you have to look at is not how does your beretta compare to one Baikal but three baikals, even if the beretta is twice the gun which i dont think it is for one moment you will still have another brand new baikal left when the beretta is dead and buried.
  14. You wont regret it deadeye ive they are awesome kit and as good as it gets, i have had most semis over the years and these are the best allround guns out there at the moment, the finish is very basic but that is no problem to me. Its stregnth and reliability i want and these MP153s have this ok.
  15. What you dont want him in the same hide as you, you suprise me kirky, i said he used one i did not say safely. that amount of water says some thing for the gas system though i dont care what you say.
