  1. Was the key in the door on the other side? Tbh i dont see the point when you can just do the lock in without making too much noise.
  2. Really! The older units with external driver on the back were great, the chinese have recently been using drivers and leds built into one board making a skinnier floodlight and they are patethic, i now search out for the oldest stock i can find. I have gone through x4 150w, x6 20w flat led floodlights that all lasted under 6 months, some lasted 2 weeks! I refuse to fit cheap lights in hard to reach areas now as i end up losing money having to replace them at my cost.
  3. Green flag was in pudsey, had a mate work there a few years ago! I now use rac as it based on the person not the car and i drive a fair few different cars and obscure stuff most wont touch if i told them. Only had subbies from rac with flatbeds as i only call them when its terminal!
  4. I just wire them in direct and i can check that the earth is actually connected as alot are just left floating in the case!
  5. If it all goes wrong and we stay in im applying for a job at the eu.
  6. Sounds about right, problem with arms smugglers so make all deacs illegal, job done.
  7. Scandi is a flat 30 degrees and easy to sharpen because the angle is the same so just lay it onto stone and sharpen, if you put a 45 on it it will need more practice unless you use a lansky type system. Recently i have been using a block of granite thats flat and attaching wet and dry to it to do my planer blades and they have come up super sharp so going over to this method to do my blades and its far cheaper than a few waterstones. Hollow on meat is great but harder to sharpen untill you get used to it.
  8. Will it be like when the romans left?
  9. I love that noise. The I just run lead with a touch of pewter to make it run smoother and it comes out fine for me.
  10. Next gravity will fail if we leave.

  12. Should trading standards be informed if the importer will not do anything about it?
  13. Some decoys, i put one in my parents pond and they had a pair make it there home, the pond was only 1m by 4m and the ducks crapped all over there nice patio, i was not there favourite for a while.
  14. Should have read the article properly, still would be nice to have one fettled by a big name! http://www.historyofwar.org/articles/weapons_enfield_p14_m1917.html
  15. Is there any way of using the serial number to find out who made it? I know the american ones have a letter prefix but i was reading about these and i would not mind a boss or purdey or cogswell p14!
  16. Im out i wanted a 3" chamber, i like odd stuff but it would be a hoot seeing what the tweed brigade made of this at coniston!

  18. I got a inverter from them and its been great in the camper, the only recent buy was a right angle drill adapter for one job and it saved a days labor and was a tenner, single job tools in my eyes buy some stuff does suprise me.
