I used the 24g ones and found them a little less punchy than the 21g ones, could have been in my head though! I allways like a case that I can see what’s inside.

For all of them it would be £4 -
I have bought a load of used brass with the intent to melt it down to make some round bar but a fair bit of it seems too good to melt down so I have picked out what looks the good stuff and will offer it up first. Want a multi shot, single shot PCP 177 or 22 , for less than £250 ,
rovercoupe replied to oldypigeonpopper's topic in Wanted
It’s one thing the Chinese always seemed to get right with these is how good the barrels are. have you ever done a polish and de burr on the internals to make it a bit smoother to cock? -
Some eley cartridges have a slightly larger primer hole so can be a bit awkward to reload without the larger Rio primers.

Or go to that drawer that has all your old keys you have no idea what there for and make up a set of dummy keys to put by the front door and the thief’s will take those and you can call the cops whilst they wrestle through a set of keys that does nothing.

I allways like putting a bigger bolt handle on for those big target days, saves getting a divot in my hand! I have the parts to make a pump up model when I get the time. -
Im just having a dig, tell me otherwise that you didn’t go to the auction with the intention of flogging on a load of cartridges. If you want to be a trader on here you have to pay a small fee then you can do whatever you like and I will leave you alone.

Not a bad mark up from the auction you bought them from last month……………..

No idea how any of that works but look at all those buttons to press!

Ginger nut pigeon thrower (webley mini launcher)
rovercoupe replied to rovercoupe's topic in Guns & Equipment
Took it to work today and took a quick slo mo video of it in action, it could be a real tricky target and quite good fun. -
Bought this the other day and found virtually nothing about it apart from one guy saying it threw tiny clays the size of ginger nuts so with a little modification and a pack of cheap ginger nuts I have given this a whirl and it lobs them miles! not had a chance to fire at any targets but it look like it could be a real good laugh. has anyone used one of these things in the past or have any other info about them.

What model gun is it? Could it be a smoothed out rook rifle?

Now that’s the smell of freedom, brown trousers and black powder.

Welcome to yorkshire, brain cells are lacking round here

Sa80 bayonet and sheath, they clipped together to form wire cutters if I remember correctly

Some cheap shotguns in auction today!

Yet someone paid £60 plus fees for a westlake b2 air rifle! -
Had a 300 and 400 they are worlds apart sold the 300 and still have the 400, says it all really! If you can find a second hand 400 the price can attractive and are as good as the German equivalent. Same with some of the dianas could not sell a 38 for £130 but now glad it did not sell as it’s a cracking gun.

I almost exclusively shoot tree rats with the .25 these days because the pellets are the cheapest and a close ranges it just hits so hard and avoids over penetrating. I have a multi shot .22 that I use when there are a few about and want a quick second or third shot but I always go back to the .25 as it’s just so effective. and it makes me smile
