My guns have hammers not safety catches. I don't point them at people, loaded or not but then again it is extremely rare for there to be any other people anyway. (I still don't point my barrels in their direction)

There were 70 mph winds up there last night, it was only ever going to go one way.

Byrony?

An AC version will have a transformer, it won't be sending 240 to the push button for obvious reasons. I would think any pushbutton would do if that was the problem.

5. Not everyone knows someone that's a doctor, GP, lawyer etc that knows them sufficiently well to vouch for them. Also, they aim so high then include landlord??! That's...... bizarre.
I believe the fact that MP's are on the list is what sets the bar.

I have one and I doubt you will notice a difference in performance that using a 12, they are not massively different.

However, if you said I went roost shooting in the wood to have a bit of fun and get a few for a pie for Sunday dinner, you will very likely be in trouble!
Another fine example of how ridiculous this country has become.

I have a few of them in my gun belt, I think they are AAA but may be BB. I was given them some years back.
If I was buying cartridges from the village I don't recall there being a choice, it was Grand Prix or Maximums. Had a hare problem back then and were paid a fiver a go to shoot them, only way we could afford to buy Maximums for that job.
If you went into town Monk's had a wider selection but always tried to sell me their own brand, Grosvenor Cartridge IIRC. Claimed they were exactly the same as Grand Prix but I didn't think so. I even cut one in half just to check there was actually shot inside as I could never hit anything with them. I never was very good with a shotgun, much preferred my 22.

Only thing I have found side steps good for is keeping mud off your car and onto your legs as you get in and out

It was what people could afford, or more precisely was within the affordable bracket. It took quite a bit of effort to buy a box of 25, none of this modern day 1000 minimum stuff.

Identified as a leaf cutter bee.
Clever things, bore a hole in wood and line it with leaves creating what looks like a very well made cigar inside my logs. Must have loads of them the amount I find in my logs. Apple wood and pinch the leaves off my apple trees.

If it bothers me and it is near enough to home I cut it myself.

Always found Cheshire to be extremely efficient and have said so on here many times.
No comfort to those in other counties that don't get good service but credit where it is due.

I dont think Boris was that bad Look at Blair took us to war saying there was weapons of mass destruction got servicemen killed for nothing and didnt he get a award a bit back now he should be in hiding
Least worst doesn't equate to not bad. They are all pretty terrible and I don't see it getting better anytime soon, politicians coming from universities rather than the business world does not help that.

Scrolling down thinking I bet it is bats. I was beaten to it.
Another telltale is spotting on the car panels, basically it's bat pee.

Each to their own but there is a lot of good people and good content on facebook, along with a load of idiots and nonsense of course. I don't find it difficult to filter out what I don't want.

Have a SXS 12g hammer gun I bought 44 years ago when I was 15, didn't have a license. Paid £50 iirc for a pretty much unknown make, so unknown I can't even remember what it is.
I couldn't hit a damned thing with it so cut a chunk off the end of the barrels to improve the choke.
Got pretty good with it after that, or reasonably good anyway. It was and still is my main shotgun but tbh I have always favoured my 22 if going shooting.

They do when they are alive, never mind when they are dead.

I have French windows that look out onto my goose field. Couldn't believe it this morning when there was a fox in with them. Wasn't after the geese and wasn't showing any interest in them, more intent on looking for rabbits under their shed but the geese were far from happy about it.
I bought a CZ 452 WMR some years back just for this very day, 60 yards open sights and it didn't let me down. I just love that gun and wish I had more time to use it but there's too many people around and it is quite loud. Spent a lifetime shooting rabbits as pest control but seem to breed them these days, I have loads of them on my land including dozens under the goose shed. I've never really shot anything other than in the name of pest control and as such I very rarely shot foxes as they weren't a pest to me. They rewarded me with killing my geese at regular intervals these days and was glad to turn the tables on this one.
The field is stock fenced and has 3 electrified wires too, obviously not doing its job.

Apologies, I misread it as 2 and 6. (then again if there was a ten bob note included.......)

A florin and a tanner didn't weigh that much.

You already do have to register your poultry if you have 50 birds.
I'd prefer to see reintroduction of the dog license tbh.
How do all you drivers cope with glare or dazzle by others headlights?

Bought some yellow tinted polarised glasses this last week. Only been out once at night and it was not raining, which makes things worse, but impressed so far.
Like many that have commented I find dazzling lights at night a real bane.
I find my lightbar does help educate some serious offenders but haven't fitted it to my latest vehicle. I don't go out much these days really, day or night as it is much nicer at home.
