    I Love my 17 plate vivaro .

I've got the sportive  model with some nice features. Drives like a car .and my 1.6 is very economical doing 40 mpg around town full of stuff

I like mine too, and it says Made In Britain on the back.

You would have change for a pretty good holiday from that budget too.

  2. Renewed both of mine recently and the new ones were with me 2-3 weeks before the old ones ran out.

All done online and on the phone. Can't fault Cheshire in my experiences, they have always been exceptionally quick with anything with me.

Once put in a variation, posted on Friday on my doormat by Tuesday, I was surprised it was even possible.

  3. My Dad gave me one of these nearly 50 years ago, I was only 11.

Never did shoot much with it because I could never afford any cartridges. I'm sure it only fitted 2 1/2 inch cartridges.

Bought another recently that does fit 3" but after having the ejector fixed will now only hold 2 carts. Don't know why that is.

It's not the cooking Matt it's the handling beforehand of the bird, the blood, then the dressing gutting etc., there lies the contact that's unavoidable. If it gets to the point, you need rubber gloves and a face mask to prepare a goose i think the simple answer is don't lift the gun

This is indeed the problem and exactly how it makes the species jump into humans. That is the real fear.

  5. Only speculating but rats are said to be timid with new food sources and therefore traps. Are the males a little bolder and are the first ones to try it?

Is this a new thing or have you not taken any notice in the past? Have to admit I have never sexed them when trapping.

The wealth is stolen from the citizens and should be taken back. No one has the right to be above anyone else. The privilege of royalty pervades our institutions at the highest level. A grace and favour society that protects its own. Thousands of acres of land, thousands of properties, rights and entitlements to positions of influence that are immeasurable.

It belongs to us and should be taken back.

I don't really agree with that but do think if you want to do something about people stealing from the citizens you should first tackle those that are stealing right now rather than however many centuries ago.

The oil industry, big companies paying no tax while raking in massive profits, the people in government wasting billions of taxpayers money, etc etc.

Deal with all those things first and then worry about the royal family who in my opinion do much more good than harm.

if he hadnt married that wretched woman in the first place we wouldnt be having this conversation...

Are you 100% sure that everything you think you know about her is correct?

Basically you are saying that you believe everything the media says about her is true, do you really think the press tell the truth?

I can't say that I know anything at all about her but I can see the media are painting as bad a picture as they possibly can at every single opportunity.

Tom Kerridge has apparently shared the gas bill in one of his establishments will go from 5k a month to 35k a month … no price cap for businesses.

Can’t see many surviving this without help.

A business I know of has worked out their electric costs will increase by £1million, they don't have that kind of money spare.

It doesn't really matter what size business it is if you are suddenly going to increase costs so dramatically as they just don't have that spare money to pay for it.

It is going to be severely difficult for an awful lot of people both domestically and business owners where they use a lot of energy, bakeries, restaurants etc etc.

Brother in law ordered a drill from Folkestone fixings on a Saturday afternoon

    it arrived Sunday !!

I ordered some things from them recently and chose them because they did next day delivery and I needed the tools.

Arrived 6 days later! Wasn't impressed with that.

  10. I bought a new TX200HC about 3 years ago I think (I am not very good with the passing of time and how long ago events were) but I never had it tuned and don't plan to.

Picked it up for the first time in months just last week and got a magpie at 50 yards with first shot. It is a very accurate and powerful air rifle, weighs a ton though!

It had a large wooden handle for turning it until it was modernised with a belt drive from the Fordson Super Major.

Ruined many a chopper that did. When turning by hand you stopped when you hit a stone, tractor just smashed the teeth off.

The problem with banning the idiots is they just reappear with a different ip address they moan about the forum but seemly cant live with out it and feel everybody is interested in there every move .

Yes they can sign in with a different name etc but in the case I mentioned the idiot always spelled a particular word wrong, whenever you were suspicious you just checked how their spelling of this particular word that they used very regularly. It must have baffled him how I cottoned on to him so quick. :)

  13. I ran a very big forum for a while and there wasn't much to it really as everyone got along.

Pretty much all the trouble was caused by a single individual that just posted rubbish purely to wind everyone else up. I eventually banned him for being an idiot and the place was so much better for it and should have been done long before.

Generally the place ran itself other than as said above with moving stuff to the right section, etc. The biggest job was reminding people what their password was.

I use quite a few forums on various topics and have always thought the one with the most members least suitable to be gun owners were the shooting forums.

  14. Did your mothers know where you were and what you were up to at all times when you were 12?

And if they didn't would you be saying they were deficient in their duties?

It is a very sad case all round but it is unfair to be suggesting the mum is to blame unless you actually know different.

The answer is yes. (I take it that this extra 'course/layer' is below ground and won't be visible?)

Personally I'd use concrete blocks laid laterally to help spread the load. Done this with bricks and blocks many times, all dependant on what's being built on top of it 😉

Hadn't thought of that, it fits nicely and lets me make a start instead of waiting for concrete to go off.

    Thank you.
