  1. Now sold to another PW member..
  2. PM sent John. Put me down for two to attend.
  3. I'm a member of several of the shooting / hunting related forums but rarely visit most of them these days, only PW everyday as it's by far the best for lots of reasons.
  4. Problem is, if they do start making trouble it's too late then for the victims of this trouble. Best to avoid the problem in the first place and move them on in a way that they understand.
  5. I have a very tidy Parker Hale mod. want £10 only. To clear a slot on my ticket, collection only with fac.
  6. I felt all your emotions whilst reading that, well done on a great day and write up.
  7. Nice offer Phil, I am sure someone will take you up on it. Its good to have a change of scenery with a shooting buddy . Wish you where closer.
  8. I live in the wrong area, but no doubt about it, 100% northern. All the posts just goes to show we are not all perfect, like wot I am. (no grammar police please)
  9. All domestic energy users are paying for this by way of green taxes added to energy bills and then paid to suppliers in order to provide these energy saving schemes. Likewise if you are paying more than 10% of your household income for heating you can claim £135 to go as credit to your supplier. All paid for by green taxes.
  10. If there was one available I bet there would be a long queue.
  11. Makes me look good at least. I agree with other poster about safety isssues when two guns in a hide, my mate and I take it in turns to shoot if sharing a hide, also gives us a chance to laugh at the others misses and appreciate the occasional good shots of course.
  12. When did anyone last find one of the soft / chewy Maltesers. You could normally expect to find one or two in a box.Not found one myself for years but still hope to. That's quality control in action for you. :(
  13. Check out Aldi in your area, £80.
  14. I got a Laurona 3" magnum m/c,28" barrels o/u only yesterday. Took it out immediately (just to go bang) and got two woodies with first two shots, very pleased with it up to now. I think it is steel proofed but would need to be confirmed.
  15. In the original pic it is more obvious that they are all from the same brood, but Because I have reduced photo size for the post it is not so noticeable but if you look closely the breast of the back bird is mottled also.
  16. Leucistic Starling in garden a couple of years ago, never seen it since.I often see two crows on one of my perms with some white wing feathers.
  17. Should be able to gauge whether land would be likely to be given clearance for those calbres, only FEO would decide (if it has not already been cleared) . Cabinet may be ok but ensure hinges are internal and not external. Only you would know your likely useage but ask to hold 600 and buy 500 for each calibre is a decent starting point. (Sometimes it is cheaper to buy in lots of 500) FEO's will ask of your intended useage. You may intend to use at a shooting range as well, for instance and that would necessitate holding more. Which calibre depends on nature of permission but I would apply for both .22LR & 17 hmr stating need for both short and long range shooting,ie up to 60 yards and over that for hmr. You do not need to buy both guns initially, but start with the .22LR would be my suggestion.
