  1. Hi I have 1 that i could sale it is around a year old and i have only used it twice so it is in very good conditon. I am in hertfordshire, how about you? JIM
  2. Cranfield I was feeling saddened by what had happened and i just wanted to share it with some people that might understand. JIM
  3. Hi all I feel you need to see the bigger picture. I used to keep ferrets for several years so i do know what i am talking about. I gave away my last 2 a couple of years ago as my then girlfriend did not like them. I saw the 2 that i brought advertised in the paper and i gave the guy a call and then went round to see them. The guy told me that the hob had been given to him from some one who could not cope with him(thats strange i thought) so i handled him and he did seem a little agressive. The jill was as sweet as a nut. The hob had a very bad temperament and would do all he could to bite me even when he was on the ground in the back garden,he tried to clime up me to bite my leg or get to my fingers. I know why the chap i got him off would not get him out of the box and it makes sense why he was passed on to be some one else`s problem. Suppose my little girl had put her fingeres in the cage! it does not take a lot of working out what would have happened,i just could not of taken that risk. I dont believe that the hob had ever been handled, that `s why he could not be used. I phoned the guy that i got him off and basically he said you brought it,tuff luck. I was faced with no other option then to put it to sleep he was put down in a humane way,if there was any other way i would have gone down that path. JIM
  4. Hi all yesterday i brought 2 ferrets, one hob and one jill. The jill is fine but the hob bit me once and it tried to bite me 3 further times so i was faced with no other option then to put it to sleep. RIP JIM
  5. Nice one fella, even the fox is smiling at you-lol. JIM
  6. I went out today but i did not have much luck i only shot about 6 pigeons and 1 crow so it was a waste of time really,i got well hacked off as the wind was blowins very hard and it was dull. I am starting to get fed up with the lack of birds around that wont decoy. JIM
  7. Hi chaps Thanks for the replys. I would like to say that i used 21 decoys and the pic that i took was a few that was on high ground, the other decoys were lifted up above the rape. There were 100`s of birds just sitting around doing nothing i went to all the best spots but they would not move. I would have used my flapper and my magnet but i did not have any birds to put on them. Nothing would work at all,i have been pigeon shooting for 8-9 years now so i feel i know my stuff. Thanks a lot for all your help. JIM
