  1. phone this number 01902 722144 which is the Logun and AGS number (they own webley now).
  2. No probs mate. Happy shooting. They aren't nicknames wobly for no reason
  3. Put the pots in open end first, if you use it too much the other way then they can be damaged. Measure the diameter of one of the pots and just nip to b and q or homebase and get a spring washer of that diameter. Rob. If you aren't keen on doing that then you can phone this number 01902 722144 which is the Logun and AGS number (they own webley now) and ask about sourceing parts for a webley raider 2, and they might pass u along to someone who can help, and ask for a webley raider 2 barrel spring washer.
  4. I have a webley raider 10, and I believe they are similar in design. The 'pots' as you call them are actually silencers in themselves, they fit into the shrouded outer barrel and compress the sound so its quieter (the black metal tube that fits over the actual barrel), if you shoot it without the 'pots' in it will sound like a cheffing cannon. The small spacer (the thin ring with the hole) goes in first. The pots go in open end first so the closed end is showing. On the webley raider 10 there are 3 shroud silencers (pots), im not sure how many are suppose to be on the raider 2, this could be the cause of the rattling. There should also be a spring washer in the end between one of the silencers and the moderator, if that is missing then that could also cause the rattling. Best plan is to nip it to your local gun shop and get them to have a look. If you have any more troubles just give me a PM and il see if i can sort it out for you. Rob.
  5. I live in Sleaford, im an air rifle shooter myself, however do dabble in a bit of the shotgun shooting, cadets was what got me started and I love it, just i leave for my army training in October, so theres no real point in me getting my SC or FAC, well untill i get some spare time. You can't really be taught shotgun shooting to be honest, obviously you can be given tips and the basics, but its mostly just practise. Im pants at decoying tho lol Rob
  6. Went out today with a friend armed with some smart clothes, my insurance docs and some business cards to get some permission. Went to one place a nice woman came and I just asked if she knew who owned the fields across the path from her house and she asked what it was in regards to, and I just asked about shooting permission which she then said "well it's my brothers land and i'm pretty certain that he'll say no, what were you thinking of shooting?" I mentioned mostly rabbits (im an air gun shooter) and she said "Well he might let you then", so thats when i whipped out one of the cards gave it to her, and she says she's going to get him to ring me, im not getting my hopes up but we can only try ey? I put at the top of the card Free Pest Control and she said "ooohhh free pest control, and smiled." If the land permission falls through I could always ask her out Wish me luck guys!! Rob.
  7. I have one word for that "PRO!!!"
  8. This pic was taken a couple of years back, im third in from the left at the back.
  9. Looks like you had a good time mate. Im in Lincolnshire too looking for some land, lets just hope you havent nicked it all
  10. Im on this forum no end, and the posts are extremely helpful, you all certainly know what your talking about, or you're all good liars Im currently on the arduous quest of gaining shooting permission. However i'm not looking for a hand out, want to gain it on my own my problem is I'm an air rifle shooter, so that means rabbits, rats, squirrels and the odd pigeon etc. however I'm just wondering if there is a different approach to asking permission if you have an air rifle as apposed to a shotgun? Will that put farmers off? I own my own airgun forum, i wont post the link because im not sure if the admins like it, but its fairly successful, so i know what im doing, just wanting to know really if its likely for them to say yes. I have BASA insurance also. Cheers in advance. Rob.
