    This quad has a full mot and is fully road legal

    and is registered as PLG

    It was bought new in 2008 but as it was built in late 2005

    the dvla use the build date for an age related plate so it

    is on a 55 registration, all paperwork to prove

    mot until 21/05/19

    5 speed with reverse

    I have all the paper work and tool from new 

    The quad has hardly been used and in very good condition

    A pair of cobra Monaco seats complete with harnesses and adjustable runners to fit landrover defender. These were removed from my dad' s landrover and bolt into existing seat fixings. They are in good condition and have landrover logo cushions. £200 collected from cw9

  10. Bank transfer not as safe as you think

    My bank is hsbc the other bank I think is Barclays, I had not been contacted by my bank the Money was taken out without my knowledge. I have spoken to my bank and they are looking into it, I have emails to prove what the money was for from the buyer and also the referece that he put on the payment was the bike I was selling

    I recently was contacted by a person wishing to purchase a motorcycle that I had for sale, he asked if he could leave a deposit of £250 to secure the bike and he would collect in a week's time which I agreed to, the money was put in my bank via a bank transfer, after over a week of messing me about he decides he doesn't want the bike without even coming to view as agreed, I wasn't best please but nothing I could do about it as I had told other people it had sold, I then checked my bank and noticed £250 had gone out of my bank so contacted my bank as I hadn't bought anything, it turns out that the bloke had told his bank he had entered the wrong details when he did his bank transfer and his bank took the deposit money out of my bank without me being notified, I will no longer accept a bank transfer for any goods as it can be reversed without any notice

    Thanks for looking at my bike which was built to coincide with Yamaha's 60th anniversary. So, it's a matching numbers D reg 1986 F2 350 YPVS UK bike with lc2 31k bikini fairing and belly pan, the front and back end are ZXR400 forks, wheels, brakes, swing arm and suspension. Everything's been gone through and rebuilt, replaced, refurbished and refinished with no expense spared. Engine has rebuilt crank and rebored, I think to first oversize, with all new Pistons, gaskets and seals used, receipts present for crank and rebore. Still needs running in as I've only done 360 miles since building. So, it will need to be run in before thrashing. Jim Lomas pipes with TZ silencers, sounds awesome, engine is standard tune, standard air box and filter, Handles superb and stops exceptionally well due to the wheels and suspension and swing arm which was machined and fitted by a qualified engineer. Paintwork was done by Mark Cordwell and is stunning, it has a pearl in the yellow and looks great in the sun. Frame, swingarm and wheels all powder coated with all associated brackets also done. It has all new seals and gaskets for oil pump and water pump, new alloy radiator, samco hoses, new pirelli tyres, carbon front mudguard ,brand new yss rear shock and nos fuel tap. This bike is totally mint and a one off. All in all, great bike ready to ride and enjoy. £6500 ONO

    I have had bikes all my life and accept the risks involved in riding them and all the riders who race accept these risks but I was surprised at the lack of barriers hay bales etc at Oliver's mount. The races were called off yesterday after a second bike injured spectators

    Been to Oliver's mount this weekend watching the racing and was very surprised to see the lack of run off protection on most of the bends. There were no hay bales in front of post and rail fences even thou that would be the path of the motorcycle if the rider lost it, I only mentioned this to my wife yesterday and to day there has been spectators injured and the races cancelled. Has anybody else been to watch the racing here?
