  1. When you use Open Office be very careful of the format you save in. If you save in Windows Format it will be openable in most applications. David.

  13. What I findly mildly funny is how this jealousy is directed by politicians and the BBC, what about the money paid to footballers? Isn't this wrong? Many of them are paid vast sums even compared to people in the city, who I agree are overpaid. David.

  15. I'm sorry but your attitude is very sad. Many of the problems we face in this country are caused by Government employees who are not held accountable for the decisions and as a result don't care at all. David.

  17. Actually it is the CPS which decides if a prosecution goes ahead, so Saville and the grooming gangs happened on Starmer's watch so he is ultimately responsible. David.
  18. I started wearing gloves pigeon shooting to stop the "white hand" flashing when in a hide. Then when I found gloves that were comfortable and good feel wear them all the time. Means the "feel" is the same. David.

    Look at your local clay pigeon grounds (if you have some) several of the ones near me have air rifle ranges as well. David.

  21. I don't think it matters one way or the other. If you are safe you are safe, all my shotguns like all my rifles need to have the safety applied by me, it is therefore a habit. All the same. As an aside I knew a professional hunter who had his dangerous game double rifle built without a safety at all, as he said "when I pull the trigger I want it to go off". Mind you his muzzle awareness and discipline were exemplary! David.
  22. I often think that one of the best payments for beaters and pickers up would be the shoot paying for an insurance policy for dogs injured on the shoot! David.
  23. As I live in North Wales I have written to Mr. Dunbobbin, the PCC in this case, to express my disbelief that he could allow such a travesty of the real situation to go unchallenged. David.
