  1. Hi, I'm looking to to have a go at walked up grouse shooting, I'm not looking to shoot loads just be happy to get the chance to shoot one. I'm from central Scotland but would travel within reason, Just want to get an idea of cost etc Thanks Paul
  2. Thanks for the offer scotslad,we shoot down the borders so driving a fair distance every couple of days checking the birds etc. I got some panacur today so will give it a try. Most of the birds are still in the pen,the poults were late in coming this year which was a bit of a ******.
  3. Thanks, cost me 26quid for a tub of flubenvet that only done 25kg of feed. Will give panacur a bash, cheers Matt.👍
  4. Is flubenvet the only remedy to cure gapes?

  6. Hi not been on for a while been busy with work etc , few pics from this season from my rough shoot . My first woodcock. Saturdays efforts. My dog ozzy I got from a pw member last year (shotguntim)
  7. Hi yeah going to the shoot this weekend to do some work on the pen which was left by the previous syndicate ,by the looks of it its big enough for 50+ birds so that should do for this year. Got a number from a guy in a nearby shoot his mate has a game farm with a few poults left so should get some sorted out hopefully, As for the foxes spoke to the farmer and he says the last few mornings he has seen a fox moving between a couple of plantations so a busy weekend for me .
  8. Yeah went and bought my wheat tonight got a tonne of cracked wheat and a tonne of normal wheat all dried for £260, just have to bag it up now.
  9. Hi thanks for the replies , yeah may have to get poults after all my only worry is I spoke to the guy who has the shooting on the farm next door and he said he has shot 19 foxes on his side this year so god knows how many is going about my shoot!
  10. £150 a tonne dried , also got offered wheat from a farmer that's been cracked by his dresser and dried for £130 a tonne, not sure if its any good tho?
