Gamebore super steel 28 gram clays ?
fenboy replied to TONY R's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
I have some 24 gram ones if that is of any use. -
It's not quite that simple though is it , those foreign cartridges are brought by a british importer , they in turn are using british couriers / haulers and paying all the usual overheads. So by not buying any foreign load you would still be costing british jobs.

A bit of a rash statement . I would always recommend Browning / Beretta / Miroku to anyone who asks "what gun should I buy " not because I am a snob but because I have a bit of common sense. They offer the best guns at their price point , hold their value and are fairly easy to obtain . In this thread the OP has not asked for a recommendation so I don't really understand why some are going down that route.

If you like them and can afford one buy it , it matters not what anyone else thinks. It's not going to be any better in terms of reliability than Browning / Beretta / Miroku and will certainly lose more value if you do decide to sell , but I can understand when you say you want something a little different to the norm.

One in the sales section now. http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/338963-dummy-launcher-rrt-lucky-launcher-l/

So after all your calls for support you are now going to do your best to stuff it up for all the others that want to shoot the bay ? If you choose to ignore the agreement then no doubt all the fowlers will be getting tarred with the same brush.

Another cracking bag for the pair of you. I have missed out on a good bag on Broccoli / calabrese twice now this last year due to the tractor beating me to a field , I am sure one of these times I will fall lucky !

Luxury indeed

At last you are learning the importance of making a half tidy pile of birds. Well done on another couple of decent bags.
-
Unlikely I expect
-
Well done Harnser. You certainly have to pick your shots shooting on laid cereals and for me shooting only at ones you stand a good chance of picking is the only way. Unfortunately not all on here feel the same and every year around this time we start getting the 376 shot 4 picked type posts .

Very tidy job

Another excellent result .

I would say he is getting on with the auto just fine , we will soon be hearing of his first triple ------ just as soon as he loads three cartridges and remembers where the safety is.

The hazel poles took me by surprise JDog , I wondered if you thought we did not have enough trees in fenland and was planting your own. I guess 35 for the amount of time we shot was a decent result , but it was disappointing that the field had been chopped in a couple of days previous , they soon lose interest as the greens dry out , having said that we could have easily doubled the bag if they did not start drifting towards the road. It's always nice to learn something from someone you take out , in your case I have learnt to try and avoid standing on the next peg to you on a shoot !

Thanks Ditchman , I always wondered what type of grass I have ----now I know as it is exactly as the country mix you describe.
-
Yes they will show up , but it will also say what they were prescribed for anti depressants treat a multitude of other things and I am sure your FLO will be fully aware of that , they are not interested in what your taking as much as what you are taking them for , so don't worry about it.

I was only wondering today what had happened to you. Sounds like you are getting on well with the FT evo , well done mate. I am sure they are nice guns but not to my taste , though I can appreciate they are a great tool for the intended job. I still don't have the urge to get a PCP Good luck with your final two shoots.

Not on my patch they are not! The peas are due to be vined this week and I still have not shot a pigeon on the seven fields I have to go at.

BASC fights global ban on lead ammunition
fenboy replied to David BASC's topic in General Shooting Matters
I agree , but I will wager someone will be along to disagree. -
Ooooh I love cherries are they edible , it does get a small dark type fruit / berry.

I have no Idea JDog , but as we are having a guessing game perhaps you can tell me what this tree is. It started life as a seedling taken from my late grandmothers garden which she assumed a bird had left , it does readily self seed , and I am forever pulling them up.
