Anybody got ideas how to take it down to around 11-11.5? I cannot wind the allen bolt down under the back plate cos its bolted. Would re-arranging the disc springs in the regulator make any difference or tightening the bolt which the disc springs sit under make any difference? Thanks, Rich.

Just got mine, working fine in the pouring rain. I've had it down to 7 Y although it says 15-800, and out to 484 Y I cant find anything in the distance thats further than 500 but less then 300 but I dont need it for more than 500 anyway! So at £50 brand new in the box what a bargain! Rich.

So my HW100 wasn't working I took it to my local RFD and they got the gunsmith to take a look and he said the regulator need to be rebuilt. After 8 day I got it back and it was only doing 0.9 ft lbs. The second repair took 4 weeks and it then was shooting 7 ft lbs. Finally he said he tweaked it and the RFD said it was doing 11.4 ft lbs. I got it back home and chronoed it myself to 6.6 ft lbs. So after £65, lots of phone calls and 5 weeks and my gun still not fixed I no longer want to deal with them. I will ask for a refund because they have not provided me with a service (fixing my gun). If they refuse to refund and say they will repair it where can I take it from there? Is there anyone who is above all RFD to keep them in line or am I out of luck? Thanks.

Hi all, any help much appreciated. I am looking for a Air Gun Club in the South East region but I work shifts and I am looking for a club around my hours of work. First of all my hours at work are: Monday - Day off Tuesday - 5am - 10am Wednesday 5am - 10am Thursday - Day off Friday - 5am - 2pm Saturday - 1pm - 10pm Sunday - 8am - 2pm I would prefer the club to be in about a 20 mile radious from Maidstone as I dont feel like doing 80 mile round trips just to shoot my air rifle as much as I do love it. I'm not asking for you to search for me as I've already done a lot of searching, I'm just hoping someone already knows of a club! Thanks in advance, ATB, Rich

Precisely why you get a sample pack, no one wants to go out and spend about £30 on pellets when you can spend less than a third of that and find out what your gun likes.

I took it back and they chronoed it to 0.9 fpe :\ They're fast tracking it to the gunsmith so hopefully I will be out and about with it soonish. I've probably shot 1 full power mag since I've had it (24th April I purchased it) so I'm really eager to see what this gun can do compared to my SMK springer. I cannot wait! Hi Chris, the reason I know it has lost a lot of power is it won't even pierce a coke can at 10 yards, the pellet just dents it and we all know a HW100 should do so much more. The gun was chronod when bought at 11.5 fpe. I'm going to go back to the shop where it just got a repair, seems the only option atm as I don't have much knowledge in air rifles. Just had my HW100 fixed (new regulator) it has lost significant power will it increase in power after I've put some pellets through it? Unfortunately I don't have a chrono.

Anybody selling either? Can get stud for about £10 on ebay so not too fussed about that.
