  4. Hi I have my used Emerson commander folding survival knife for sale. These are a very famous knife from the USA (used by US special forces) and cost well over £200..... + import duty etc to uk. I need a good skinning knife and want a havalon knife so I have decided to sell it. £45 + pp or will swap for a Havalon. Thanks guy
  5. Hi yes I've just found the pin and wound it up!! I'm guessing this isn't ideal as it won't be quite as secure ? It's .17 hmr so not much kick .... Will not having an arrestor pin in be a problem with this caliber?
  6. Hi, I'm just trying to fit my scope to my cz 452 American. It's a nikko sterling scope and rings. Essentially the rings attach to the rail well, but I noticed that the back mount wasn't flush. I realised there is an arrestor pin on the back mount but no hole to locate to on the rail. What is the solution? Thanks guy
  7. Thanks there's some really useful tips. Guy
  8. Thanks for the response, any thoughts on the tripods off eBay for £20?
  9. Hi all, I have recently got my vermin licence for .22lr and .17hmr . I do a bit of vermin control on a farm with my air rifle (.177 daystate huntsman sub 12ft/lb) and find a bipod extremely useful for placing precision head shots. My question is really regarding the rimfires (especially .17hmr). Due to the extra range and flexibility of shooting with this caliber are bags or sticks more suitable? I find bipod a a blessing and a curse, great for ambush shooting but cumbersome and awkward when stalking. It's mainly rabbits I'm shooting Upto 100yds walking around the farm, head shots preferable as I want to eat the meat. Any thoughts?
  10. Thanks felly, yeah it was a bit of a lump..... It came out a couple of weeks later at 42lb!
  11. Hi, I live in whitstable/ Kent . I'm looking for a commission to shoot rabbits with my rimfire rifles (.22 and .17hmr). Would this land offer rabbit shooting, if so where are you based in Kent? All the best guy
  12. Yes really beautiful today, got up early and caught a pike from the seasalter marshes whilst watching loads of bunnies sunning themselves on the bank of a orchard.... It would be a great place to hunt!!
