    redundancy

I took it last year,i volunteered because i didn't like what they where offering i had worked in the same job for 21 years.I had a couple of temporary jobs but i have a permanent one now.I'm 8k down on what i did earn but it's a job.My advice is if you are happy with what you are doing do every thing you can to keep your job it's hard to find a good job
  17. Thank you for the reply, bit of a stupid question. Are the results in the us the same as the results in the uk when using the same cartridge. The reason i ask is a very good friend of mine shoots clays all over the world. He told me that a cartridge will perform different in different countries due to air pressure and climate. Rob
  18. David basc, without trying to cause a argument. You have mentioned in a few of your posts 'based on us research' surely basc should be doing there own research. Rob

  21. Thanks lads, just had a belly full of food.Had a call from a farmer today said he saw a fox in his sheep last night so off to have a go for him shortly.hopefuly it will be a good end to my day
  22. I was talking to a friend who said that if lead is banned we will not be able to shoot deer without any rifle smaller than a 270,i think that instead of basc fighting this themselves they should be joining forces with other groups. Why don't they send each member a petition form.I personaly hope they don't ban it we havn't been using it for centurys for no reason.
  23. I think the reason they have to have the guts in is because they are being exported,a inspecter will check them before they go into the food chain. The gamedealer i work for has them gutted another one i know of who exports them insists the guts are left in.His go to france/belgium
  24. I work for a local gamedealer,we are paying £1.80 kg roe,fallow £1.15 kg for muntys.
  25. About 30yrs ago,it was stalking a cock pheasant in a release pen didn't see me standing behind a tree.I stepped out and shot it right in the chest at about 10yds.After about 20 mins and a lot of poking with a long stick to make sure it was dead i picked it up put it acroos my shoulders and marched of home to show my dad.I was about 2 miles from home,by the time i got home i was smelling rather sweet of dog fox.I knocked on the door as hard as i could, when my dad opened it before i could say look what i got he said YOU STINK CHUCK THAT THING IN THE FIELD GET YOUR CLOTHES OFF ON THE DOOR STEP AND GET IN THE BATH.It was the middle of winter and theres me with my pride deflaited standing on the back door step in my undies. He still laughs about it know
