  1. Hey EGNWT (soz cant type out all your name) When I interview at work we use a technique called either a funnel or star (they mean the same thing) it goes like this... S = Situation T = Task A = Action R = Results I open with a question, in this case eg "tell me EGNWT have you any experience of the countryside"? This is the situation ok. You respond with the usual yes and expand on that..... They then ask you about a particular task you completed in your previous answer So you answer that you tell them what the task was ok They will then ask you to describe the actions you took to complete the task You tell them what YOU did but at this point you SHOULD say somewhere in your answer " I was as part of the team responsible for ....... blah, blah, blah......... ACTION And finally they will ask you what was the result of your actions ie what happened or what was the results? You say I achieved this an that etc.... So you see the process is like a funnel it opens up with broad questions and then they pick points out of your answer that will give them a understanding of
  2. Hi all I know this is probably not the place but, how do I get onto the chat thingy? I click on the links but nothing happens, is it up and running?
  3. Hi All Went out last Sat 26th all day, plenty of birds about but I was on wrong side of field, thanks to my mate but thats another story. Action was nil all morning but picked up about two pm. Shot 25 for 37 cartridges by 5:30. Wont bother catching the early feed next time. Field was pea's about an inch high. Had to play around with the deeks pattern and rotory Mc but got it right in the end.

  5. Thanks Neil & Crapshot. I looked on the front and whilst they do indeed have deek layouts I cannot see any mention of a rotary.
  6. Thanks for the reply Fife. I spent about 3 hours yesterday looking on this site and all I found was a short statement that said someone had moved the magnet around a bit. There is a good chance that I have missed something and would appreciate anyone narrowing the hunt (excuse the pun) down for me.
  7. Greetings to all here at Pigeon Watch. After years of pigeon shooting  I have finally relented and bought a rotorary (Is that how you spell it?) pigeon machine, not the real McCoy but I think its great. Anyway my question is, Where do you put it in relation to the rest of the pattern? Can anyone help? please don't say anywhere I have tried that and I am having mixed results. Would it be possible for you to do some nice piccies like the ones showing pattern layout but with the rotory mc drawn on it? no need to re-invent the wheel huh? say a circle with an 'X' in it to denote the rotorary mc? ANY help before this coming saturday would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
