  1. There’s some pictures in the ad, and I’ve got lots of additional info on the 8 too. Drop me a message if you’re interested 👍🏻
  2. She really is 😍 Shame to part with her to be honest but I shoot the 10b better, and that’s much cheaper to load! There’s nothing like dropping a bird with a big bore though.
  3. I’ll measure it when I get home and provide dimensions 👍🏻
  4. 3/4 gun cabinet, with internal lockable ammo safe. £80 collected from Warrington, Cheshire.
  5. 8’ x 4’ dog kennel and run, with galvanised bars and door. It’s 13 months old, and was made by these guys - https://westlandkennelstore.com There’s some minor chew damage in the run, thanks to the Labrador puppy! But the inside was lined with ply (removed when dissembling), so the sleeping chambers are perfect. Re-painted in September, and as long as it’s treated each summer, it should be good for 10 years. A new pup forces the sale. I’ve replaced it with a bigger version of the same kennel I’ve been that impressed. £395 - collected from Warrington, Cheshire.
  6. I should have said... This comes with a full full set of chokes, and a shin kit. It has had a tru glow bead fittet too. £230

    8 bore

After years of procrastination, I’ve decided to take the plunge and buy an 8bore. They are very difficult to come by however, so please contact me if you know of any for sale - anything considered, although the reality is that I’ll probably only be able to afford a single Many thanks, Todd
  8. Sorry I’ve only just seen this. Yes, it’s still for sale.
  9. Thanks for the advice guys. I took some of the homeloads to a mate last night to re-finish the crimps as per your suggestions. Tested them this morning and not a single jam
  10. I think it's a Photobucket issue. Apparently you have to 'pay' to be able to share photos to 3rd parties now? Ahh well.
  11. It's taken me a while to get off the mark this season, as I picked a new pup up last week. But I managed a quick flight this morning, and dropped the tail goose of a small skein about 30yards out. http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x322/wildfowler69/Wildfowler12/108AD0D1-3508-4DB7-AD8B-D7DDC80563A3.jpg Here's hoping the apprentice makes the dog his master does http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x322/wildfowler69/Wildfowler12/CB979C45-484F-400D-990A-84A6957C82D1.jpg
  12. Women's full suspension mountain bike, 26' wheels. Made by Universal. The gear change is a bit clicky (cable may need adjusting) but the bike works fine. Brakes, tyres, wheels all good 👍🏻 £40 collected from Warrington.
  13. Large (5ft) desk and matching tower cupboard. Dark brown in colour. Cost £300 roughly 5years ago. £50 Collected from Warrington, Cheshire. PM for more info/pics.
  14. Short and slim fit, PVC upper with a polyurathane boot. UK Size 7, £55 posted.
  15. Here's a few more pictures... The first Solway goose of the season is always worth celebrating As is a good bag on the shore during a windy tide flight. After spending almost every weekend of our summer working on the pond, we finally got to enjoy some evening flights on it! Not a big bag this one, but it did contain a lovely drake pinny. A single flukey shot felled 3 drake wigeon on a cold flight over the Christmas break... And the next couple of shots connected too. Our travels took us to some beautiful spots again this year And the 10b homeloads made light work of the pinks whilst we were away. But, as always, it was nice to see the season out at home. Here's hoping you all enjoyed some successes too. Roll on September 1st!
  16. Not often I revisit a thread. But the magazine was polished, and the spring stretched. £10 all in, and it's good as new
  17. It was a little quiet this week. We ended up giving a couple of pegs away to make up numbers in the gun line, as half of the syndicate were shooting elsewhere! I took the little 20b with me as the wife had expressed an interest in 'having a go'. Up she steps on the first drive, and she drops a 30 yard right to left crosser (her first ever pheasant) with her first shot! With a 100% record she decided to retire for the day. A small bag, but one that I'll remember for a long time
  18. That does sound stupid, but it's also the sort of thing I'd do! Haha. I'll check it again when I'm back, but I suspect it isn't that. I didn't even know the golds had a mag cut off!
  19. Thanks for the comments. The gun (and gas ports) are spotless, it had a full strip and clean before I left. It's only fired about 50shots from new. I will try some factory loads but I suspect it will make no difference. The cartridges are not being released from the magazine even when you cycle the action manually (by hand). I would take the mag spring out and clean that but the clip is glued in at the end. Apparently this is to stop it being converted to a FAC.
  20. Yes, homeloaded steel with Remmington cases. But I'd put about 50 through it without issue before this fault developed. Thanks
  21. Evening folks. My 10b has developed a fault, on the 1st flight of my fowling holiday too! Cartridges appear to be getting stuck in the magazine. The gun will fire and eject the spent cartridge, but it is not releasing the 2nd cartridge from the magazine on to the carrier arm, thus preventing the reload. This was an intermittent problem that would be solved with a manual cycle between shots, but now it won't even cycle shells manually. It will be going to a gunsmith when I get home, but any ideas what might be broken - and is there anything I can do myself to get it back inaction whilst I'm away? Cheers
