Walking the springers and stumbling my way through trying to train them to hunt for what we need, and though I would not say an interest but listening to endless conversations about air guns. So I have decided if you can not beat them ... bloody join them lol

1. Now gone to a wonderful Game Keepers home where she is the only dog with no other pets or children. Could not have asked for better
2. Our first litter has been a pure joy to raise, but sadly it is getting to the time when we must think about letting them go. At the moment they are coming up 7 weeks old, eating soaked ferret food and mince and drinking well on their own. Mum had to be taken away four days back as she had had enough of being a mother and was in no mood for babies anymore - but they have not looked back since with three meals a day they are all well fed and growing like little weeds. This as said has been our first litter and we do not plan on ever having another... too much hard work lol But all the babies are very well handled to the point I would keep them all if the other half would let me. Both mum and dad have worked and proved their weight in gold in the field with bagged bunnies, no lay ups or sulking (tempting fait for next season now, arn't I lol) We have silver & poly boys and one poly girl (sorry, two silver girls are staying here lol) and are super little ferrets. A working ferret is a happy ferret and would like them to go to working homes really, but active pet home will be good too. We are looking for £15.00 each. Pick up from home only (Nr Boston, Lincs LN4). I will hold if £5.00 deposit is sent. Ready to go 5th July Mum is poly - Dad is Silver Thanks for reading.
3. Thanks for the advice and no, 3 and 4 doesn't make 8 does it Okay, back to school I go.
4. Good luck with the little ones!!
5. After loosing Possums litter and our first ever litter of ferrets we decided that we would keep Moss's babies a guarded secret until we were pretty sure things would be okay. Moss's litter is now 3 weeks old and I have never seen any thing so cute as a baby ferret. She did have 11 in the litter but the three smallest babies died over the first week leaving 8 big strong healthy kits. Mum is a poly and dad is a stunning silver and I think we have a wonderful mixture of albino, poly and silvers in there. We have three girls (staying with us) and 4 strapping boys (1-2 staying with us) and I love them all to bits. Here are some pictures of them as Moss is happy with me handling them now... as long as she gets her mince and meatballs lol This little one has half of his tail missing, bless Sorry about picture quality, my computer is due an over haul soon!!!
6. Sadly there is always going to be nut cases like this to drag decent law abiding gun users down. Yes, as with other's I feel for the policemans family, but as the old saying goes, you should never tar people with the same brush
7. I always cut the front and back legs off at their uppermost joints, cut the tail end off and bin it then cut the back in half just under the ribs and leave it at that

FUGLIES

Had to have a look at this thread as when we showed our rabbits their was a rather ugly rabbit called the Lionhead that all us none-liker called Fuglies... I have to say that this fuglie is a hell of a lot cuter My other half would be soooo enviouse over this little guy Look at the size of those feet!!!!!!
9. My ferrets love to go for walks, the river bank and local park there fav They have lovely coloured harnesses and elastic leads for the occasion too which the other half .... loves We even took our ferrets to the local agri show a year or so ago, not entering them into any thing, just so they could get out and have a little fun their selfs. They are fantastic animals to have loads of fun with!!
10. All our ferrets have hammock that I made myself for half the price of buying in, thankfully my time was not wasted as they all love them
11. Great looking pup... though I'm going with the daughter...Toddles would have been a great name for you to shout down the line

I won!

well done, happy spending, sound's well deserved.
13. Wow, they looked like they were having so much fun... all the things I used to love as a kid, mum hated it and often dreamed of me wearing pretty dresses instead of coming home with ripped jeans and mud on my face But being a mum now, of course I disagree with it all... more so the dirty clothes lol No, honestly, good on you for showing them the countryside and a dam good time
14. Thank you for all your advice, I took him back to the vets again today, his armpits are healing great, I couldn't be more please. But asked her the same question as I have you, as said, I was worried about his teeth and gums just feeding on soft food... simple answer which is so simple I felt like a fool asking in the first place... Raw tripe as he was brought up on and good thick raw cow bones, which he has had from time to time from being a puppy any way Simple But, again, thanks for the advice on the other feeds as raw tripe can get a bit smelly come the hight of summer Hence why we had changed him to the dry food in the first place
