  1. Ok, I must have deleted it by mistake before reading it, or the buyer replied first saying he would take it. If the sale falls through for any reason I'll give you first refusal, if you are still interested.
  2. Did you message on this site, or gunwatch? I thought I relied to all the messages earlier today. The gun is now provisionally sold, just have the details to sort out with the buyer.
  3. Thanks, there's been a fair bit of interest in the gun. Think the distance is putting people off. I could RFD to RFD.
  4. Could possibly send RFD to RFD. Open to sensible offers.
  5. This is my gun, any questions just ask. I can put up more pictures if required. Included in the sale is 100+ cartridges, boresnake and snap-caps.
  6. This is my gun, any questions just ask. I can put up more pictures if required. Included in the sale is over 75 cartridges, boresnake and snapcaps.
  7. Hello I think I am going to apply for my FAC very shortly. I have my SGC, and have had it for about 10 years now, and fancy a change. I would use the .22lr mostly for controlling rabbits on permissions I already have, but recently I have started target shooting at my uni gun club. Just now I'm using one of their old target Unschutz guns when I am at the club. If I do apply for my FAC, I would like to put down these two reasons, rabbits and targets, for having one. I'm curious if there is a gun out there with both diopter sights, and can take a scope? Or one which I could easily change over between the two? Thanks
  8. Quite a few of the ex forestry commision vehicles have gun safes left in them. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-Ranger-crew-cab-53-plate-ex-forestry-commision-/300551269991
  9. I know somebody who used to take out a local land owner and the land owners friends on his boat. They would go down the coast and shoot feral pigeons as the bolted out of the caves. The land owner actually owned all the caves, but I always did wonder about the lagality of shooting them from the sea.
  10. I bought a pair last year to replace my 8 year old Berghaus boots. Too soon for me to tell how well they last, but on the plus side they are dressy enough for me to have worn them on a few nights out.
  11. First time for me incubating pheasant eggs. The instructions with my R-com Suro say for pheasants 37.5 degrees c for turning and 37 when stopped turning. And for humidity 45% turning, and raised to 65% when not turning the last few days. Hope this helps. Will be interesting to hear how you get on! I think mine are due to hatch about the 10th.
  12. I bought a 300 tdi swb auto discovery 1 about 7 years ago and still have it. I Bought it with a good chassis and spray it every couple of years with old engine oil. The only thing I have had to change is a swivel ball joint and the battery! Pretty good going. I average about 30mpg.
