  1. Hi mate just up the rd in radcliffe. what scope does this come with?
  2. The RWS sling on my s400 is very good. Leather strap ends with a hard wearing canvas middle section comfortable to carry round too
  3. I use a free program called C-Cleaner by piriform really easy to use one click and it wipes all temp internet files, cookies, etc has a registry fix tool too. My link Does all right by me
  4. I can imagine how that conversation would go down haha
  5. Gordon bennet I've worked at places that dismiss for downloading any file type that hasnt been pre approved by the IT dept! this could be anything from a picture or even a driver needed to work a program, but downloading the blue stuff and keeping their job that's unheard of in my book!
  6. Cheers guys, The maggies round here are tricky little beggers, seem to operate in packs with a proper lookout rota! Seem to run for it when they set eyes on me entering the fields over 500 yards away!! Yeah the myxie is awful up here this year, bagged 2 so far for 2012 and 2 out of 2 have had it. On the plus side the hares are doing fantastically
  7. Hello all! I've not posted on here for a fair while and also this is the first post of the fruits of my labour! Went out yesterday in the first bit of nice weather we've had up here for a fair while. I've been struggling to get near anything recently but last night I managed to bag x2 magpies (which have been thriving this year and have played hell with this years broods of woodies, blackbirds and wrens!) and a relatively young rabbit, sadly it was suffering from mixy so hoping I did it a bit of a favour :( All taken with the S400, maggies with AA fields, rabbit with RWS Supers This first one seemed to attract another magpie... Yup. Hoping to get out again tonight for some of the woodies that are down on the clover at about 7pm!!
  8. I took a maggie yesterday at about 30yrd with an AA Field .22 which incidentally had a damaged skirt. It is frustrating as they are relatively pricey and is gutting when you pick one out that looks like a squashed hat but they are a fantastic pellet overall, the 5.52 loves my s400 and has even made the SMKalashnikov accurate! TBH I tend to mix half AA Fields and half RWS S'domes in my pellet pouch when I go out.
  9. Well an update - I used the scope for the first time this weekend and I am very impressed it feels very well built and I mounted and zeroed in easily. The optics are lovely and clear, much better than my old AGS and the reticle is brilliant. The adjustable distance optics are great too. I took a maggie down at 40 yards with a clean head shot using RWS superdomes. Then I shot acorns clean off an oak tree at 35 yards. I never knew I could be so accurate! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new scope under £60
  10. They have to do something with all the cameras on the motorways mate
