  1. Teagues are top flight stuff. The advantage with extended chokes is that they are easier to swap. I suspect the average shooter would not be able to tell the difference. I have used flush mobil chokes and Optima extended. I prefer the Optima (for the reason stated), but can't tell the difference. I would spend the money getting your gun fit checked or a lesson.
  2. Cranfield - just found out how to do it - feeling quite smug, until I came back to find two had been quicker. Well done lads.
  3. I would agree about Matlock Bath, Ashbourne and Buxton, but Glossop is a mixed bag. Okay during the day, but I am advised that it has a real drug problem at night. It was described to me as the drug centre of the North. Not the easiest place to drive to or from in the rush hour. Nightmare would be fair comment.
  4. Can we cut through the usual debate. Miroku MK38 - best value for money. The other two mentioned are very good, but dearer and no better.

I think he just left the building.
  6. All cotton. The mesh ones don't seem to last as well and go out of shape. An extra pocket on the non-shooting side for car keys.

Mungler - on the nail. Now I don't want to start another debate, but F3 has mentioned Pearl harbour. I think there is more scope there, for the conspiracy theorists. I have to add that I don't agree with them either, but it is the more plausible of the two, by far
  8. You are at college and therefore have intelligence - I hope. You need to read up. It slightly bothers me that you have suddenly decided to get a shotgun and firearm. Have you actually been involved in any aspect of the sport at all or is this a whim?
  9. Consider the Miroku - identical mechanically to the Browning - cheapest of the three.
  10. I'm with Mr Potter on this. Not a massive ground, but enough variety and they make good use of what is basically a flat field shoot. Car parking is okay rather than plentiful, with lack of hot food the only down side.

You can't argue with the facts - classic quote. :look: :look: I thought that was what this thread was all about. The world and his wife saw two planes crash in to the two towers. Video footage, eye witnesses - not enough for the conspiracy theorists. Is it not sufficient that some low-lifes killed innocent people without some half-wits saying it was an inside job? There are times when part of humanity makes me feel ashamed.

The ones damaged were the ones the planes flew into, unless that was a conspiracy illusion.

Firstly, you would have to pack a specific floor with explosives. Then you would have to train a piece of cowardly scum to fly a plane, which he could accurately fly into the exact floor. Half a brain cell is more than enough to see through conspiracy theories. Just why are people so gullible? It's embarrassing. To those who get over relatives' death in a short time - I do think you need to get a life and develop relationships. Most people have lost someone dear to them. I would not like to be the sort of person who just shrugged it off with the attitude of - "ah well, life goes on". Very, very sad view of life.
  14. It will be able to be fixed, but it's not a £10 job. Should be less than £100, which is worth it on a Miroku.

Death from below / MM - don't hold back - just tell it as it is. :look: It annoys me that whatever the tragedy - and this was mass murder by scum - some sicko will try to make money from it. Worse still, people help them make money by buying rubbish.

    Take Away

I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. In 2003, I had a takeaway from a kebab shop in St Ives Cornwall. I was pretty ill the day after and couldn't walk properly. I vowed never to have another takeaway. That didn't last. Recovered temporarily, only to find it was actually Septicaemea, which came close to killing me. Totally unconnected with the kebab place.
  17. My lads were pleased when our mortgage ended - more money for them and only two people in their way. :look:
  18. Each to his own, but the gold adds nothing and detracts something chronic.
  19. Too much money. Buy a mint secondhand gun. Wood looks a little light to me.

    Dogs

I have no wish to start a long running thread where various people will put the boot in various breeds. I ask that those who were quick to condemn certain breeds, just read this and take a step back. The question is - Do you have the restraint to just read it, without resorting to a diatribe? http://web.orange.co.uk/article/news/toddl...fter_dog_attack Please - just read it and let it go.
  21. Le Chameau - had a pair for about 6 years now.
  22. I have a number of friends in the Police and have dealt with hundreds of them. Most are brilliant. Most respect the uniform, others hide behind it. Why didn't he pick on someone twice his size? Because he wouldn't be sure of the outcome. This man is a cowardly bully. He doesn't need defending, he needs sacking. Are you seriously saying that if you are not subservient, despite being arrested for no offence whatsoever, you deserve a beating? The world has taken leave of its senses.
  23. Maionchi - skeet 9's. I used a lot of them on Sporting - late 80's. Not seen them around until this year. Loved them.
  24. A cowardly bully, who got what was coming to him. There have been hints that this was not the first time he resorted to violence against people who were in his charge. The District Judge and the Assistant Chief Constable had him bang to rights and condemned him. They will have more knowledge than me or most other people. His own colleague turned him in. That says it all. The punishment is harsh, as he has ruined his future - who would want to employ a woman beating coward, but he has brought it on himself. To anyone who defends him - why?
