My 2 yr old male Viz gets a bit cold when hes not running around constantly. What are people using for a coat to keep them warm? neoprime ect? anyone got one that fits the Viz body well? mines at top of breed standard height wise and 25kg so lean. Cheers Andy

i love mine to bit, but i chose it due to its temperment as its primararly a house pet. hes nearly 2 and just had his balls snipped off so a bit pent up with 10 days of no running. couldnt ask for a nicer dog, but they do require allot of time, more so then other dogs i would say, they like to be by you all the time around the house, very rarely will he go in another room if were not in there. would love to bring on his hunting but for me it is secondary and i dont mind admitting that here at all will get pics up later

i've not tried callers, will have to give them a shot! my permission is sort of on a flight line too a rookery

It's 3/8ths choke at the min. I would like a shorter barrel but they're hard to find in 24in. Have read about retro fitted chokes and that would be ace! Just need to look at cost vs a 24in remchoke if I could find one, midwayuk doesn't seem to have them anymore? Why would it not look good? Yh I could hone it out myself pretty easily but I would just be opening the choke more, depends how deep the pitting is I guess... Cheers for the inputs! Very helpful!

Does anyone have a shot gun they use with no choke or cylinder choke fitted? What's it like?? I ask as I have some pitting in the last few inches on my 870 and tempted to shorten the barrel to get rid of the pitted part. Is pitting an issue worth fixing? I know about resale and proofing but don't plan on selling it Cheers Andy

Cheers bud, midway is an odd site, searched a week or two ago and nothing comes up. Also that one is cylinder choke, same a chopping my barrel :( Does the mozzy and the 870 share barrels or do they just make them? Would be nice to have a trip to the states!!

Has anyone brought a shorter 870 barrel? I know they do 18 in bit do they do 24? For SGC Mine has I touch of corrosion in the loud end I'm worried about, might chop it down....

So would you rather leave a gun cocked when you put it away? Take a pump for eg, unless you wanna leave the last shell in it its gonna be cocked... I dry fire mine for testing ect and to decock, BUT I wouldn't dry fire someone else's gun unless I knew they were cool with it...

Good to hear, was my first shotgun, i havnt worked out why i hit more yet, ribbed barrel or LOP? the manufrance has a fair few similarities to the 870, just the dismentions are slightly different, and its lighter which was nice, think it has a alu receiver, where as the 870 is steel.

yeah i wondered that! a small holo sight is ment to help with modded guns apparently as it over comes the way you have to point it with a mod on, if you know what i mean?

yeah seen new ones for around the £90 mark but just seeing if anyone had one they kept tripping over in the shed
