  1. Hi, I would like the double pocket bag please. I couldnt find a link to pay, so please could you pm me payment details. Thanks
  2. Hi folks, this is my gun for sale if anybody is interested. Thanks
  3. I have got one of these, had it from new. Initially my wife used it and now my 13 year old lad shoots with it. Currently using with 20g subsonic and absolutely no recoil at all. Great gun and a good price as well, bargain to be had there against new price.
  4. Hi, I am sure it will sell no problem, but if it falls through let me know.
  5. Hi. Do you have any pics. Also can't tell on my mobile where you are located. Cheers
  6. Hi Folks, this is my shotgun if anybody has any questions etc. The advert only allows 3 pics, so please email if you want any others. Thanks
  7. I purchased a baikal single barrel synthetic 12g hushpower from saddlery and gunroom. We have horses and i regularly shoot in the same fields with them and others. With proper hushpower cartridges they are truly very quiet. I generally use it for pigeon and rabbit shooting; i have toyed with taking it for some clays for fun, but never got round to it yet. I would recommend them to all shooters, they are not everyones cup of tea, but if you need a nice quiet shoot or dont want to alarm neighbours or animals they are ideal. When i shoot often the horses are standing right behind me just being nosey; it really doesnt bother them at all. Without the hushpower it would be impossible for me to shoot at our livery yard. I paid about £390 for mine and that was delivered to my local gun dealer. Quite often they come up on gunstar and guntrader but they generally still hold their value. Take a look at sadllery and gunroom as they are the people who actually convert and make the hushpowers. http://www.saddleryandgunroom.co.uk/Gunroom/SG_Hushpower.htm
  8. I have a good collection of guns and love my 410. Mine is an older investarm over and under but I love it. People under rate .410's, however if they took some time to have a proper go with one they would soon see how much fun they are. I have had a go with the Yildiz .410 over and under and it is very good value for the money. i bought the 20gauge spzme in the end, but that was mainly because I fancied a 20gauge as didnt have one.
  9. I went on Sunday with the family. My kids are 8 and 11 and enjoyed it. It is not bad for a family day out as there is a selection of things to see and do. It should simply be called a country fair though really. The emphasis on 'game and shooting' should really be considered false advertising. Lots of clothing for sale, usual selection of deerhunter kit on many stands, ryedale and Warwickshire clothing had large stands. Lots of wellies and boots for sale. Not a shooting fair though, I didn't see a single shotgun for sale. In fact the only thing i saw was a brocock stand with a few air rifles on it. Gunmakers row simply didn't exist; I walked over to the clay shoot competition wondering if anything was over there, but to no avail. Not even cartridges or basic shooting accessories anywhere to be seen. AA decoys had a very good stand; I bought a rotary pigeon magnet for £45 amongst other things. Overall I would say it is useless for a shooters event; stick to the midland and cla. This is more of a general family day out.
  10. I bought one just over 12 months ago; is a Mk2 with the quick load system. Didnt come with extended chokes through, just standard flush ones. I had to wait a while for a left handed model to come from factory, but worth it. Mine has never jammed, I have tried all sorts of cartridges in it. Even tried 21gram 65mm fibre carts to see what happened and it cycled them all no problem. People knock these guns, but they are a solid workhorse and great value. I have a few guns ranging from expensive brownings down to my cheap hatsan and i always seem to end up choosing the browning for pigeon shooting and such like.
  11. Hi, I am on the lookout for a Gamo Compact .177, right handed with wooden grip if anybody has one they are looking to sell. Thanks, Andy
  12. Hi thanks for your advice. My son is 8 years old, which is the youngest age they can start at. Loading isn't a problem as they are allowed a loader, i do this when we are practising. He is allowed to use two hands until he is older as well. One of the problems we found is the grips are too large on some guns to be comfortable. Fine for adults but not for kids.
  13. Hi folks, I am on the lookout for a single stroke pneumatic air pistol for my son who has decided to take up tetrathlon. Has to be a single shot, .177 as per rules. He has only just started training but from the looks of things the HW40, HW75 seem to popular along with gamo models. At a higher level the competition guns come in to play, so open to what anybody has to offer. If anybody has anything they are looking to sell, please pm be. thanks
  14. Hi. Dont suppose you know whether these will fit my 525.
