About Me
Web TV station Fieldsports Channel launched on the Glorious 12th August 2009. Set up by shooting writer and editor Charlie Jacoby and ITV producer David Wright, we are the antidote to the boring stickmaking, dry-stone-wall-building, tractor-pulling, paint-drying, dull and duller Countryfile from the BBC.
Wha...? Sorry - fell asleep as I typed the word 'Countryfile'.
We make around half an hour of broadcast-quality TV every week about the best of British hunting, shooting and fishing. We were the ones who brought you film of the white roebuck, Britain's "biggest" fox, how the RSPCA killed a golden eagle, we took a cheetah to catch rabbits in Essex, and we regularly take celebrities shooting, including rugby league legend Keiron Cunningham and TV presenter Phil Spencer. You will also read articles about the stories behind our films in all fashionable shooting magazines. Nobody can say we don't enjoy ourselves.
We are delighted to be on PigeonWatch, where you can see - and talk about - our Fieldsports Britain weekly programmes. We also have a number of other programmes coming out, including Claysports TV. Go on - there's nothing else on telly!
