  1. Only worth investing the funds in pursuing if you feel he as resources to fulfill any judgement. Who did you make the sale to? who is on the paperwork? him or the company? this will determine the direction of any action. Absolutely report to Firearms what harm can it do? unless he is a liar and infers you were threatening in your dealings or other such detrimental misdirection As always said is no good, what about the arrangement can you prove.
  2. You can test for a concealed leak If your stop tap is not passing at all You have an outside or bib tap some place Put a screwfix pressure gauge on the bib tap and turn the stop tap off then go out or someother time consuming thing, Gauge drops you have a leak
  3. New Faces, at Swinton on Saturday for 100 esp there were minimum 100 entries, cant be exact as some may be hidden.from that pool of shooters there were 6 that were starred against there classification- awaiting classification. Shot less than 300 targets at Registerd shoots Probably all chuntering about costs but stepping up with there monies never the less.
  4. Same faces is a valid point. Absolutely hope its not the death knell of shooting.
  5. For every outgoing shooter there is new blood coming in at todays price point. Im just not seeing the reduction yet at the shoots i attend, same faces, same names on the scoresheet week in week out. Last sundays shooters were on the back of the last increases and in the coming months i may not see some of those names. I hear the noise about the costs but am drinking coffee with the same faces every sunday.
  6. 200 at Catton last Sunday, East yorks no spaces,Swinton same im not seeing any effect yet at CPSA shoots. I bet the English,British be sold out with a waiting list. Jet Hall doing Fitasc at £80 and its packed. Weekends on the motorway just as busy.
  7. Barugh Green, Yorkgate at otley Marne Barracks, a few miles but an easy drive Hemsworth Rufforth There is a clay club at Woolley, i heard them shooting on Saturday while i was at Mount Farm Sycamore East Yorkshire And i agree Park Lodge is only worth visiting if you are stuck for something to do. David Bains at Redbeck used to have all the local contacts. EDIT reread the opener and i guess its the Air rifle you were aiming your post at.
  8. Notoriously leaky, designed to be so in am certain, Leaks sell filters sort of thing, Mine is in the garage and i made a seal with PTFE tape but replacement is inevitable.

  11. Fall out remover, Devils Blood is a brand name but other stuff is available, spray on, wait till it goes purple and jet wash off, then you can use a non acidic cleaner and a detail brush to agitate any remaining filth, it will be tough going to get clean at first. Get a wheel brush to do the barrel same procedure ,repeat as needed until spotless. then apply a sealant as per instructions and future cleaning will be easier I personally take mine off twice a year to get the inside clean and sealed. I like a clean car I use for my products a company in stockport "E Z Car Care" the stuff doesn't need a fancy brand name or cost the earth.
  12. I had a really old sherpa van, diesel back in the eighties, it would never start, nobody binned diesel off as a bad idea, they sorted it in time. Get used to the demise of the ICe as there are too many people sucking on that finite resource, in fact on all resources. I dont believe EV is the answer as the mining is too onerous on the planet. Also i am thinking all those dead batteries will be the asbestos of the future.
  13. I went to M.R and had one made very happy with the outcome especially around the hand.
  14. There is something to be said for taking a walk around you own perimeter and looking only within at your own "Republic". If you are happy with your lot you are a rich man. To look beyond can ruin your day really. t
  15. A gift can be made but at such late a date in the proceeding the inevitable view is avoidance of fees, Gifts needed to be made a long time ago to avoid this.
  16. Contraception is absolutely the answer, on a global scale, every single resource on the planet is stretched by demand from the burgeoning populous. There is a cost to family beyond pounds shillings and pence. Housing demand, keep knocking out your young uns and increasing the pressure on the housing market, and by extension on water, power, food, etc etc etc, Here, every where in the world. The old, they will die,its there job its inevitable.
  17. Yes for the cash part. Eastern Carribean dollars can be useful in smaller places, like the market in St Thomas to save a quick witted trader doing a bias conversion to US
  18. Ring true here, Thrown out at 16 by my nut job mother without about 30 quid in a post office account, given a job by my uncle as a hod carrier on a pound and hour gross. There is a lot of detail but the crux is i went for it, worked the long hours, worked the weekends cycled to work put half down on a terrace house at 18 , kind uncle lent me the other half mainly to stop me buying a motorbike. 38 years of working and we have 8 renters, 3 bathrooms in my house a narrowboat,a watch collection that would buy a house and i only work 14 days a month now. I went to college on day release, unpaid, went to college on a night, made the most of my earnings and looked after my savings. There has been a price, no family, didnt settle down till i was 39, missed holidays with the lads and other socials. The key thing in it all is the first 2 years where i watched the pennies and worked as much as possible, i got in front.I talk to younger end now and they are disinterested in putting a bit away as they cant see that 50 a week is soon 5k. It pains me and irritates me. Then the cheaky so and so will say its alright for you you got money or cars or plane tickets. I am alright jack, i made it happen
  19. Without sitting down with the historic bank statements and studying lifestyle it is impossible to make a fact based judgement, lots of speculation here and there.
  20. Taking note recently, duration of this thread, Sunday on the Motorway, no signs of any cutbacks on the motoring fornt, Greggs, big line of people, Maccy's, Costa all the same. Went out to a costly Itailian and it was rammed, tickets for a show sold out in minutes at £40. Are the press making a meal of it or are people keeping up appearances on the credit card?
  21. All these rural types moving to the city driving up property prices with the level of demand, outrageous, folk have lived there all there lives cant buy a flat/semi etc.
  22. Houses are available at market rate and will be bought at such. There are no Rights its just commerce. If out of town monies are to be marginalised communities will suffer. Either you can afford to buy or you are a renter. Then landlords are buying. Contraception is a conclusive answer in the long term
  23. More penalisation for those who do well in life.
  24. At 54 i have yet to meet anybody who did not have a way in which they could save a little. Long term bad habits and practices have become standard. A common attitude to saving a fiver is pointless as its only a fiver, from the acorn so to speak. The pets, the tats, the smoking/drinking the lack of planning for childbirth, i phone etc, etc. At all levels there are booby traps to drain your resources but only the savvy are able to resist. I do not and never had pay TV, no sky etc, My phone is an S7 as my definition of a decent phone is Can you hear me,Yes, perfect. I had a costa back in January and my cars are 14 and 20. Im not tight, im a bricklayer not a Merchant banker but from an early age it was instiller to put a bit away in a coffee jar for a rainy day and 40 years of saving has made life easy. For those who need it a comprehensive funded benefits system exists to take care of your BASIC needs, but budgets need to be trimmed to match earnings. People for years have earned a quid and spent it all, some even £1.10. For a lot cant put the heating on or food on the table is of there own making, trouble is it started way back.
