Hi Buzzer, Sorry for the delay...off watching telly My .20cal MKII gives 400 consistent (great inbiult regulator!) shots per charge, they do 500 shots in .22cal. The gun is amazingly accurate, zero recoil and very quiet.....its perfect for rabbits. The fenman is also a great gun and would be perfect for rabbits too. I just can't wait till Thirsday and my pigeon decoying Cheers, Tom

I think that air-rifle hunting forces you to develop good field craft skills, if you have to get within 25m of a rabbit for a sure kill then that requires a lot of ability. I find air-rifle hunting more of a challenge and subsiquently more satisfying, additionally my Rapid 7 MKII is so quiet I very often get 2nd, 3rd and even 4th rabbits/pigeon before they spook.....its worth trying, honest!
  4. Brilliant reply, thanks Buzzer I might go for a few crows in the am in that case and then pigeons afternoon. Want to try out my new flocked decoys, thye certainly look good! Thanks again. Will post and let you know how it goes. Tom.
  5. I have heard that when the ground is wet pigeons will not land in muddy fields as they don't like slippery feet. They will feed in pastures with grass cover....is that true? I'm shooting on Thursday and its sunshine and heavy showers at the monent. Anyone got any advice for a novice? Tommy B
  6. Personally I reckon the Rapid MKII is a perfect hunting rifle...I have a .20cal and it gives 400 shots per charge and a 12 shot mag. 1/2 inch groups at 30m even with my shooting (bench rested of course ) Tom.
  7. I recently brought some flocked decoys from this place : http://www.############## Have to say I'm pretty impressed
