I have 1 clay trap but would like a few traps to make it more interesting if anyone could help out it would be great were located in between Bury St Edmunds and ipswich. Or anyone who could point me in the right direction.
  8. I've had plenty of geese with the 36g 3s if your pushing the range to far for them I think a heaver cartridge is needed as the pattern will be a bit patchy I imagine.

  16. Ive got a fallow and am planning on just scull mounting it ive counted 27 points on its antlers how do you measure them i was just wondering if it was a trophy head
  17. Ive been given the go ahead for a new rifle a deer specific rifle ive got a 243 but thats being used for mainly foxing so i now have a excuse to get a new rifle i was thinking something along the lines of 308 or maybe 30-06 maybe something a little different not that hard to come buy as i dont reload yet. It will be for anything from roe up to reds. And the possibility in the future to take it for a go on the wild boar.
  18. ive always been taught to believe if its broken and unloaded your fine but if its a semi-auto i believe it has to be slipped
  19. Absolute rubbish new ones are very durable you would be fine as long as your not shooting at them but to rain shot over them you should be fine.
  20. I imagine i will take the majority of work load and put the same amount of money in but i dont mind as its a hobby more than anything. most of it is open arable land with some small woods and some spineys and rough ground there is a few footpaths but we will have to just deal with that there is the odd pond that has a possibility of becoming a flight pond. found out its defiantly stressful but its all part of it.
