D3 and D4 are easily as capable as a Defender 90 - you just drive them differently off-road. Ground clearance on D3 is superb at the flick of a lever. If it then grounds on anything it will go into extended and super extended mode. As a shooting only vehicle I would probably go with a 90. As an alrounder Disco all day long.

If you gently push down on a nail on the other foot, see how long it takes to go from white under the nail to pink. Should then be similar on the "broken" one. If its much, much slower to return to pink or gets worse make sure you don't strap it to tightly to the neighboring toe ! Regarding alignment, does it look straight, is the nail still on top or rotated at all - again if it's not right then accident and emergency may be more interested ... If non of the above, slip a little gauze or soft material between broken and next toe and use surgical tape to gently strap the toe to it's neighbour. Ideally non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs are good for pain relief and reducing swelling - but not if you are allergic or have asthma. When resting make sure you sit with your toe as high as your hip to reduce swelling, throbbing pain etc Professional hat off Man up yer wuss !!!

I also bought a spare scope mount. I shoot mine on air rifle and on the 22rimmy. Good for silhouette of rabbit at 100 yards and more. Can honestly say I've not pointed at live targets at more than about 120 yds

He may be "extreme" but since he's been chief scout. The waiting lists for kids to join have swelled. Anything that exposes kids to the outdoors is good for me. If he doesn't stay out that's fine too ! He has spent longer in more extreme environments than most people on a forum will do in two lifetimes !!
