I don’t know what this white is under the top layer, it’s an original finish I am sure, the walnut oil does not soak into it.

I have brought one of my old favourite air rifles the Webley FX2000, it’s just had a full service and is as good as I remember them. The stock has a few small marks on it showing up white, I have walnut oiled the stock which has brought it up very nice but I can’t hide the little white marks on the stock, any suggestions what I can use on it, I don’t want to strip the stock it’s to good in its original finish. I brought a Karl NP 02 I think it’s called, it’s been absolutely fine, no leaks as accurate as my expensive other rifles, in fact it puts my daystate to shame really, that rifle has leaked from day one and still has a very small leak after a service.

A gas sensor, I will look that up, I gave the car a burn out to day but it’s still smoking, I think it has been standing for a while , if your driving normal it’s fine it’s when you pull away from a junction or reverse for some reason you get a cloud of white smoke.

Brought one of these for a runabout for me and the wife, it’s an s line 1.4 petrol, done about 35,000 miles 12 plate. Car drives really nice but it seems to smoke from the exhaust even when up to running temperature, white smoke, looks like condensation but it’s always there when you throttle up or reverse for some reason, it’s not using any water and the dip stick oil looks fine, has anyone had one of these and was it the same, there does seem a few cases on line with this but no real outcome. I brought it from a garage and they are going to have a look at it next week. Thanks chris

This is just down the road from me, I don’t know if it’s genuine or not but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was, we have a lot of traffic Wombles popping up all over the place around here, give them a high viz jacket and there as happy as Larry.

When it snows here every road leading to a main road is covered in snow. Getting into the village becomes a toboggan run, and don’t even get me started on all the verges high with bracken and bushes that may get a 6 inch cut once if your lucky.

I don’t get time to drive into town centres, I am to busy clearing the DPF filter on my pick up down the motorway, why do we put up with all this.

Double cab pick up, take your pick which one, I have just brought a D max , apart from the DPF playing up which is shortly into Isuzu to sort the truck is very good and practical.

An up date on this situation, my Daughter has decided not to re home and I don’t think putting the dog down was ever an option for her, the Dalmatian has never been aggressive to people even around food, the incident happened when some food fell out the car at home , the Dalmatian was eating it and the little dog took some as well, that’s when she grabbed her and locked onto her, she is now separated and on her own with a muzzle on inside , the two dogs have been in sight of each other and neither of them have shown aggression to each other but will not be put together any more, the Dalmatian will always be fed on her own from now . The little dog is making a good recovery and has had her drain removed. I have had the Dalmatian to day, I’ve fed her and taken her food off her and she let me with no aggression, she is so placid with people, has been from a puppy, my Daughter is not new to dogs and she will keep watching her.
