  1. Being an ultra fan ill have a look, don't think the pink one will suit me......... Then again. Chris
  2. £2200 to £2500 if sound , as for Landy Zone you need to give as good as you get or leave the play ground. Chris
  3. I had a right idiot buy an expensive item of me a few weeks ago, getting to actually talk to some one at Ebay can be very hard some times, i got them to look at the messages he had sent me, and they bared him from ever buying or contacting me again, he all so had a strike on his account.
  4. Just had another thought, if you do look at the L200 give it a good caning on the test drive to see if any sensors kick in on the engine, they have an in built one that will cut the the power to the engine if something is wrong, it wont stop the engine but you will notice it, its not the end of the world but it will need to be plugged into a diagnostic at the garage, some times it can be cleared there and then. Chris
  5. On my L200 i had all terrain tyres, these were fine for general field work, you will find it a lot user friendly than your 90, things like good heater, no water leaks in side, no oil marks left on your drive when you pull away in the morning, the list goes on. Chrs
  6. I have had many Land Rovers and an L200, the Mitsubishi will not be as good off road as the landy but the L200 will be cheaper to run and more practical than your 90, all so the L200 wont suffer with the rot like landys do, your biggest problem is your budget, it does put you in the dodgy zone. Chris
  7. Not me, not at £600, i will give them the chance to make good, but if i am not happy with it all the toys are coming out the pram.

    On a roll

Of bad luck, just brought a £600 rough cut mower. ex demo very little use from a big garden machinery dealer, the sales person sent me pics and description of the machine and said it would be put through the workshop, all checked and serviced, all seemed ok so i paid and it was couriered to me. The front swivel wheel was seized solid and not a drop of oil in the engine, i corrected these and started the engine, the engine governor on top of the carb is vibrating so loudly on the engine cover its drowning out the engine noise, i have tried to re position the engine cover but no its not having it, tried to call them to day and they shut half day. Why do they do it, do they think you will just accept it.
  9. I have a Theoben and BSA pcp, the little Winchester co2 is just a bit of plinking fun, i brought the adapter so i did not have to keep buying the expensive 88g ones just put 2 small ones in , you would think that Walther who make the gun and adapter would be able to get it right.
  10. Just brought a Walther co2 adapter for my little Walther Winchester under leaver, it converts it from the big co2 capsule to 2 12g capsules, what a piece of tat it is, firstly the thread on it is very poor and when you screw it into the gun it does not go in far enough to shut the valve off resulting in the co2 leaking out round the sides, if thats not bad enough it then seems to weld its self to the thread making it all most impossible to screw back out, and no i did not cross thread it., going to see if i can get my money back. ,

    BSA

Yes i brought one with the bolt action, its got the multi cam stock on it, not to every ones taste but i like mine, no problems at all with it. Chris
  12. yes a lot of the younger generation are nancies, brought up by the political correct brigade, imagine we had a national call up in this Country now, by the time they have taken a selfie of them selfs on the front line and posted on face book or what ever, they would have a bullet in there head.
  13. Not tax avoidance, but how come there were no major protests when VAT went to 20%, a product or service is only worth what people will pay, yet the powers that be want you to stick 20% on top for them.
  14. Go on get the Apex, you know you want to. Chris
  15. I shoot an Apex, best gun i have ever had. Chris
  16. The old Theoben factory is running again, mainly by the same people, you can take that as good or bad news, they do repairs. Chris
  17. Daystate seem to take the Air Ranger and keep dressing it up and marketing it as a new gun, same with the Huntsman, they are both good guns but i think its time they really did make something new.
  18. I am in the same boat and have been for a while, i have looked at all sorts of vehicles even vans, what i have now come down to is a Toyota pick up or Mitsubishi pick up, both will be around the 09 year, the Toyota is more expensive. Chris
  19. I was going to change my Landcruiser for a more economical van, if i had i would not even get out my lane which has become my daily mud run. Chris
  20. The thing that gets me the most with all this green stuff is the only winners seem to be the government in tax, don't get me wrong i don't want to see pollution any more than any one else but we are made to pay for it time and time again, are we really funding environmental issues or just lining certain peoples pockets. Chris
  21. The only thing i am going to miss since ditching sky.
  22. Thanks, i think i will look for the newest one i can afford, looks like it will be around 08 to 10 Chris
  23. So is it just the earlier models that have gearbox problems, what year should i go from, or is this still a problem with newer ones. Thanks Chris
  24. I have just done one for a Trials bike that i have just brought, are you sure you are putting the right number in on the reg document, it kept telling me the number was wrong until i realised i was putting the wrong one in.
  25. Tax and fines, that's what runs this Country, and the more decent you are the more you pay.
